Connecting your TV box to the TV using
HDMI cable

Include with the formuler Z8 are an external WiFi antenna and a ir remote control
extender. It is important that you connect them to the box.
Turn on your TV and make sure you select the HDMI input on your TV where your box
is connected to the TV. This selection is made on source or input.

Installation and setting our TV box
Before you stat it is highly recommended that you let the remote control close to the
extended remote control for a few minutes to let the remote control and the box
establish full contact to each other.
In this section we will show you how to setup your TV Box after you have received it.
Pass this section if this has already been done.
However, you will have to do this setup after a restauration to you box.

Select the language ex Français canada or english canada
Select the WiFi network and add the password then go to the next step
Wire network sélect DHCP
Adjust screen with arrows and click exit to go to the next step
Select Region Canada and Eastern if you are in Montréal
Select hour format 12 hr ou 24 hr
Select Date format
The initial setup is now finish
To complete the setup, you will have to turn off and then turn on the Formuler (TV Box).
In this section you will be ask to update the program and add portal URL information
provided by your service
For Diablo, name diablo and URL http://diablo-pro.com:2095/c/
For Prime+, name prime and URL http://primeplus.tv:8080/c
For OK2, name OK2 and URL http://ok2.se.8000/c

Do not put a mark on login. This is required for XC connexion where you need to
have a user name and password.
Click on connect

2 : see and take a note of the Mac address (00:1A:79:...) your IPTV service provider will
need this information to activate your service. To add a portal select "Add
Portal".

First of all, one small Info for potential new buyers and owners of Formuler
Boxes.
Formuler is only Manufacturer of Formuler Boxes and has nothing to do
with subscriptions or any online streams.
Formuler Boxes are sold without any 3th content or subscriptions.
To get, install and use IPTV subscriptions is only user responsibility. No
recommendation from us which provider is good or not, link to them or
posting names on forum (read forum rules).

Formuler Z and Mytvonline App, works with following URL`s and Subscriptions:
Portal/Stalker (with registered MAC/ID on provider side).
Xtreme Codes Api (short XC) with login.
M3U Playlists.
Stalker Middleware MAC ID:
Stalker servers deliver content from your IPTV/OTT/VOD providers who use
Stalker Middleware. If your provider speak about MAG Connection and MAC
registering, he means Stalker.
This kind of connection is in most cases in use and deliver very good results. So,
when we write on forum MAC/ID registering or portal, we mean stalker connection.
Xtreme Codes Api:
Xtreme Codes deliver content from your IPTV/OTT/VOD providers who use
Xtreme Codes. Works good like Stalker, the MAC/ID registering is not necessary
but you have to use your login data.
M3U:
The common use of this file format is for combining streaming links in one single
file that runs as one single playlist. That is why it is commonly used by IPTV
services/providers.

To change the Wifi connection
On third line click on the second icon <…> and you will see the list of wifi connection
that are available, select your connection and enter the password and click on enter
1. Turn on your Formuler device
2. Go to Home > Settings > Network(WiFi)
3. Turn on WiFi if it is turned off
4. Find and select your WiFi network from the list
5. Enter your WiFi password if necessary
6. Press ENTER on the on-screen keyboard
Connect your Formuler to a mobile hotspot
1. Turn on the mobile hotspot on your mobile phone
2. Turn on your Formuler device.
3. Go to Home > Settings > Network(WiFi)
4. Turn on WiFi if it is turned off
5. Find and select your hotspot network from the list
6. Enter your hotspot password if necessary
7. Press ENTER on the on-screen keyboard

Arrange/move apps on home screen
Please follow the steps below to move apps to the desired position on home screen.

1. Find the app you want to move on home screen, and long-press on its icon
2. Move the app to its new position, then the other icons will move to make room
for it
3. After rearraging apps, press the EXIT/BACK key on the remote twice to return
to the homescreen
Install and download applications
There are some ways that you can install apps on Formuler device.
Apps from Home Market
You can find and install apps from the Market app. (Home > Market)
There are apps/versions which are most compatible with our box.
They are selected and requested apps from customers' choice of common use.
So, only a selected number of apps are available.
Apps from Google Play Store
You can also find and install apps from Google Play Store with your own
account.
Go to Home > Market > install and use Google Play Store app.
In case remote doesn't work well, please use mouse cursor button on remote
By clicking on google play it will give you the possibility to add some application
such as ookal which allow you to test you internet speed.
