Thank you for purchasing this Haztec product. Before proceeding with installation, it is essential
to read and understand this instruction booklet.
WARNING!
▪The SLE Minibar is fitted with high intensity LEDs. DO NOT stare directly into the light as
this can cause momentary blindness or permanent eye damage may occur
▪DO NOT route cables in the airbag deployment zone. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual
for further details
▪Use only a mixture of mild soap and water to clean this product
▪DO NOT allow solvents, fuels, or acetone-based cleaners to contact this product
▪Regularly inspect the product to ensure correct operation
▪The mounting surface must always be clean and dry
▪Check the rubber covers of the magnets regularly for any signs of dirt or excessive wear
▪Always attach the minibar to a flat metal (ferromagnetic) surface
▪The cigar plug must be pushed fully into the vehicle’s 12/24VDC power socket to ensure a
reliable connection
▪DO NOT exceed the approved speed rating

WARNING!
▪The safety strap is not intended to secure the Lightbar to the vehicle roof, it is purely a
safety device should the bar become detached
Installation Instructions:
▪Ensure that the mounting surface, usually the vehicle roof, is clean and flat. The feet of the
Lightbar should be in full contact with the vehicle to ensure the correct force is applied by
the magnets
▪Position the Lightbar on the vehicle ensuring that the feet are in full contact with the roof
so that the correct force is applied by the magnets. Route the two halves of the safety strap
between the magnets either end of the Lightbar
▪Open the driver and passengers’ doors and allow the straps and plastic blocks to drop inside
the vehicle, then close the doors
▪Reach inside the vehicle and pull the straps down so that they lay flat across the roof
▪Ensure the two rubbers rings on both sides of the strap are spaced evenly between the
edge of the roof and the Lightbar

▪It is important to place the rubber rings correctly as they reduce the amount of water that
can accumulate in the straps. They will also help shed water, so it does not enter the vehicle
or Lightbar
▪Slide the plastic blocks until they touch the inside of the vehicle, open the strap locks,
shorten the strap right up to the blocks then close the locks
▪Push the cigar plug fully into the vehicles power outlet to ensure a reliable connection
▪Press the power switch to activate the Lightbar
▪The momentary switch, where fitted, is used to change the flash pattern
