Attaching the front speakers to displays other than
the GD-V42XX series
Using the speaker brackets, you can attach the front speakers to the side of the display.
• For attaching the front speakers to the GD-V42XX series display, see page 4.
• In this section, the GM-P420 series displays are shown in the illustrations. The mounting screw positions of the
other displays are almost the same as those of the GM-P420 series, therefore you can attach the front speakers as
in the procedure below.
• Do not loosen the screws other than the mounting screws.
• Use only the screws already attached to the display.
1. Loosen the mounting screws on the back of the display.
Loosen the mounting screws with phillips screwdriver,
leaving a length of about 3 mm.
2. Attach the front speaker to the back of the display.
Hook the speaker bracket onto three mounting screws
through the screw holes (A), and slide it down.
3. Tighten the mounting screws firmly with phillips screwdriver.
• When moving the display, do not hold the speakers.
• The speakers are not of anti-magnetic type.
Do not place anything susceptible to magnetism, such as a video tape, nearby when setting the speakers.

Bundling the speaker cords
You can bundle the speaker cords neatly with the supplied cord clamp, as illustrated.
• Stick the cord clamp after removing its protective seal. Give an amount of time before
bundling the speaker cords, or the cord clamp may be detached.
• If you are sticking the cord clamp to the back of the display, be careful not to block the
ventilation hole.

cord.

clamp.
3. Insert the speaker cord, and
release the finger from the
terminal clamp.
• Connect the cord with black stripes to the ·(black) terminal and the other cord to the ª(red) terminal.
• Be careful that connection of the speaker cords to incorrect polarity terminals (ªand ·) degrades stereo
feeling and sound qualities.
When you connect the supplied speaker cord to the terminal clamp of the speakers, fold the end of each speaker
cord to avoid short-circuit.

Attaching the front speakers to the GD-V42XX
series display
Using the speaker brackets, you can attach the front speakers to the side of the display.
• Do not loosen the screws other than the protective screws.
• Use only the supplied mounting screws for attaching the front speaker.
1. Remove the protective screws on the back of the display
with phillips screwdriver.
Before removing them, make sure which screws to
be removed by placing the front speaker.
2. Place the front speaker on the back of the display so that the screw holes
(B) of the speaker bracket are put on those of the display.
3. Tighten the three supplied mounting screws firmly with phillips
screwdriver.
Use the rest of three supplied mounting screws on the other side.
• When moving the display, do not hold the speakers.
• The speakers are not of anti-magnetic type.
Do not place anything susceptible to magnetism, such as a video tape, nearby when setting the speakers.

Materialschäden verhindern. Machen Sie sich vor dem

Symbolerklärung
• Dieses Symbol (einschließlich Warnhinweis) weist

werden sollte.
• Unzulässige Vorgehensweisen werden durch die

Nichtbeachtung des Hinweises unter

• Die Frontlautsprecher nicht verändern
(zerlegen). Andernfalls besteht Brand- bzw.
Elektroschockgefahr.
Nichtbeachtung des Hinweises unter

muss mit äußerster Vorsicht vorge-
gangen werden.
• Schließen Sie das Netzkabel erst dann an
eine Wandsteckdose an, nachdem alle
anderen notwendigen Geräte
angeschlossen wurden.
Es besteht die Gefahr eines Elektroschocks,
wenn das Netzkabel an eine Wandsteckdose
angeschlossen ist und Geräte angeschlossen
werden.

Anschließen der Frontlautsprecher an Displays, die
nicht zur Serie GD-V42XX gehören
Sie können die Frontlautsprecher mit den Lautsprecherhalterungen an den Seiten des Displays befestigen.
• Weitere Informationen zum Befestigen der vorderen Lautsprecher an Monitore der Serie GD-V42XX finden Sie auf
Seite 4.
• In den Abbildungen in diesem Abschnitt werden Displays der Serie GM-P420 dargestellt. Da die Position der
Befestigungsschrauben an anderen Displays die gleiche wie bei Displays der Serie GM-P420 ist, können Sie
entsprechend dem unten beschriebenen Verfahren zur Befestigung der Frontlautsprecher vorgehen.
• Lösen Sie keine anderen Schrauben, außer die Befestigungsschrauben.
• Nur die Display-Befestigungsschrauben verwenden.
1. Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben auf der Rückseite des Displays.
Lösen Sie mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher die
Befestigungsschrauben, so dass sie ca. 3 mm
herausstehen.
2. Befestigen Sie den Frontlautsprecher auf der Rückseite des Displays.
Haken Sie die Lautsprecherhalterung über den drei
Befestigungsschrauben durch die Schraubenbohrungen
(A) ein und schieben Sie diese nach unten.
3. Ziehen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben mit dem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher
fest an.
• Halten Sie bei einem Standortwechsel das Display nicht an den Lautsprechern fest.
• Die Lautsprecher sind nicht antimagnetisch.
Halten Sie Gegenstände, die durch magnetische Felder beschädigt werden (wie z. B. Videobänder), von den
Lautsprechern fern.
