Attaching

the

Camera Strap

• Guide

one

hand

through

the

camera strap and hold

the

camera steady

with

both

hands.

• When taking images, be careful

not

cover

the

flash

lens

with

your

fingers.

After Attaching

the

Strap

not

swing

the

camera

the

strap.

The camera could strike objects or people causing injury and damage

the camera.

Inserting the Battery and MemoryCard

• Look at the stickers and insert the battery and

memory

card

the

right

way.

Charging the Battery

Connect

the

camera

the

Charging

Adapter

and

the

electrical outlet.

Ifa plug adapter

included

with

your camera, attach

the

plug adapter

the

plug on the Charging

Adapter.

Push

the

plug adapter firmly until

securely held in place. Once the

two

are

connected,

attempting

forcibly remove the plug adapter could damage

the

product.

Get

Ready

• The battery starts charging, and

the

charge

lamp

flashes.

• When

the

battery

fully charged, the charge lamp turns off.

• Disconnect

the

Charging

Adapter from

the

electrical

outlet

and

then

disconnect

the

cable.

Notes About Charging and Replacing

the

Battery

• Only

adult

should charge and replace the battery.

• Refer

the

information in "For Your Safety"

and in "Caring for

the

Product"in

the

Reference

Manual.

• Make sure

the

camera and your hands are

not

wet.

• Turn

off

the

camera and

then

turn

the

camera upside-down, being careful

not

let

the

batteryand

memory

card fall out.

• Make sure

that

there

debris, etc. inside

the

battery-chamber/memory

card

slot cover.

• Make sure

that

the

battery-chamber/memory

card slot cover

firmly closed.
