INTRODUCTION
• Before using your new heater, please carefully read through
the following instructions.
• After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is
in good condition.
• The packaging materials may contain plastic, nails etc., which
may be hazardous and therefore should not be left within the
reach of children.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to
persons, including the following:
1. Avoid installation behind a door.
2. Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate of the heater.
3. Do not cover or restrict airflow to the inlet or exhaust grilles in
any manner as the appliance may overheat and become a fire
risk.
4. Do not cover grilles, block entry or exhaust of airflow by
placing appliance against any surface. Keep all objects at
least 1 metre from the front and sides of the appliance. With
exception of appliances designed for wall-mounting, maintain
a 1 metre gap from the rear of the unit as well.
5. Do not place appliance close to a radiant heat source.
6. Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other
flammable liquids are used or stored.
7. This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not
let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Switch off and use handles
where provided when moving.
8. Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.
9. Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.

10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock, fire or
damage to the appliance.
11. Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid to run into the interior of
the appliance, as this could create an electrical shock hazard.
12. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Switch
off and unplug immediately.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug
or after the appliance malfunction or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrician for
examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or
repair before further use.
14. Do not operate appliance with wet hands.
15. This appliance is intended for household use only and not for
commercial or industrial use.
16. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other
use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
17. A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff in
the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly
by unplugging the appliance and vacuum-cleaning air vents
and grilles, where available.
18. Do not use this appliance in a window as rain may cause
electric shock.
19. Do not use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance. Clean
with a damp cloth (not wet) rinsed in hot soapy water only.
Always remove plug from the mains supply before cleaning.
20. Do not connect the appliance to the mains source until it has
been installed in its final location and adjusted to the position
it will be used in.
21. Always operate on a flat horizontal surface. Except for use in
bathroom where you should place wall-mounted.

22. Do not operate with the cord coiled up as this could cause a
build up of heat, which could cause a hazard.
23. The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not
recommended.
24. Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the
cord.
25. Always switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use or
when you want to relocate it.
26. Do not allow cord to come to contact with heated surfaces
during operation.
27. Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc.
Arrange cord away from areas where it is likely to be tripped
over.
28. Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as
this may cause the insulation to weaken and split. Always
ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord
storage area before use.
29. Do not store the appliance in a box or closed space until it has
cooled down sufficiently.
30. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
31. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any
other device that switches the heater on automatically, since
a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
32. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified
electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.
33. Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces. Avoid
spilling liquid on the appliance.

WARNING: FIRE RISK EXISTS IF THE HEATER IS COVERED
BY OR POSITIONED CLOSE TO CURTAINS OR OTHER
COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
CAUTION-some parts of this product can become very hot
and cause burns.
Special attention should be given when children and
vulnerable people are present.
WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control
the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms
when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the
room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service
company that is mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the
product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is
damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examination
repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance.
This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service center.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present
instruction manual will automatically release Singer of any type of
responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons
or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made
by unqualified persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be
automatically cancelled.

OPERATION
1. Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the
electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.
2. Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to the position max.
3. Then rotate the power switch regulator from OFF to the desired power,
i.e. WARM (low 1400W) or HOT (high 2000W).
4. When the desired temperature is reached, rotate the thermostat regulator
counter clockwise until the pilot light goes off. The desired temperature
will be kept constant by the thermostat.
5. Alternatively, you can rotate the power switch regulator from OFF to the
desired power COOL.
6. Before removing the plug from the socket, turn the power switch to OFF.
WALL MOUNTING
WARNING: FOR USE IN THE BATHROOR THIS HEATER SHOULD ALWAYS
BE PLACED WALL-MOUNTED (SEE PICTURE).
If you want to use the heater on the wall, you
should comply with the following installation
requirement.
IMPORTANT: When drilling into walls
always check that there are no hidden
wires or pipes etc. Make sure that the
screws and wall plugs supplied are
suitable for supporting the unit. Consult a
qualified person if you are not sure.

WARNING: Position the heater carefully. It must not be in front or below
a power socket. It must not be below a shelf, curtains or any other
obstructions. It must be keep at least 100cm from the bath or any spray
system. The heater should to be installed at least 150cm above the floor.
(See Picture)
WARNING: As the heater gets warm during normal operation, please
ensure that the wall surface is suitable. Some wall coverings may be
affected by the high temperature.
1. Decide on the position of the air heater on the wall. Use a spirit level to
mark 2 points with a distance of 189 cm apart for the fastening screws.
2. Drill two holes, insert two wall plugs and tighten two screws into the wall
plugs.
Attention: The screw must be firmly fixed to avoid heater falling.
3. Mount the heater to the wall. Make sure the two screws through the slots
on the rear of the heater.
NOTE: Always make sure the unit is secure before use.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the
appliance automatically in case of overheating. For example: in the case of
total or partial obstruction of the vents, unplug the appliance, wait about 30
minutes for it to cool and remove the object which is obstructing the vents.
Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should now operate
normally. Should the problem persist, please contact SINGER Service Centre
or SINGER Customer Service for help.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance on the appliance,
disconnect it from the power supply and allow the heater to cool down
before cleaning it.
• For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft moist rag and neutral
detergent. Do not use an abrasive cloth or devices which could affect
the appearance of the appliance. Check that the hot air outlet and the
ventilation inlet are free of dust and dirt.
• To store away the heater, put the heater back into its original package and
store it in a clean dry place.
• In case of breakdown and/or poor functioning of the appliance, disconnect
the appliance from the power supply and contact an authorised service
center.
