Congratulations on your purchase of this Portable Electric Appli-
ance. Please read the following instructions carefully before use
and retain it for future reference.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Read and follow all the instructions below even if you feel you
are familiar with the appliance.
• Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact.
• CAUTION Do not leave packaging materials such as bags and
staples within reach of children.
• Dispose of packaging carefully and with consideration for the
environment.
• Retain the appliance carton for seasonal storage.
Record the date you purchased the appliance on the warranty
page of these instruction manual and attach your proof of pur-
chase. Retain this information in the event that a warranty service
is required.
NOTE: The rating of this appliance (as marked on the rating label)
is based on specific loading tests. Normal use of the appliance
may draw significantly less power.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using any electrically powered appliance, these basic safety
precautions should always be followed.
WARNING:
• To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or
property:
• To avoid overheating, clean this appliance often.
• Use only the voltage specified on the rating label of the appli-
ance.

• Do not cover or restrict airflow of the airways in any manner as
the appliance may overheat.
• Do not place anything on the top of the appliance. Keep all ob-
jects (furniture, curtains, etc.) at least 1 meter from the front,
side and rear of the appliance.
• Do not block or restrict the airflow in the inlet and outlet of the
airways in any way, because the appliance may overheat and
there is a risk of fire.
• Do not locate in areas of high foot traffic, ensure the power cord
and heater are in view to avoid accidents.
• Do not operate in areas where there are flammable liquids (gas-
oline, paint, solvents, etc.).
• This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not
touch the front of the appliance or any of the grilles or vents.
• Before moving or cleaning the appliance, switch off the appli-
ance by unplugging it from the wall and make sure it is cool.
• Do not use the appliance to dry clothes or heat food.
• Do not insert objects or your hands into any ventilation or ex-
haust openings as this may cause an electric shock, fire or
damage to the appliance.
• Do not operate in moist indoor locations or in areas that water
may fall in the appliance (bath or swimming pool, etc.).
• If the appliance accidentally comes into contact with water re-
move the cord from the power supply and do not touch the ap-
pliance.
• In the case that the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired
by authorized service center.
• In the case the appliance malfunctions, do not try to repair it
yourself. Please contact an authorized service center for repair.
• Do not operate the appliance in wet hands.
• Operate the appliance only when completely assembled and
adjusted.

• This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
• Always operate upright, on a flat surface only.
• CAUTION: This product is NOT suitable to be used on long pile
carpets.
• Unroll the cord before operating. Operating with a coiled cord
may cause overheating and fire risk.
• Do not use an extension cord to operate this appliance.
• Do not use a plug board to operate the appliance together with
other appliances.
• Do not remove the plug from the power socket when in opera-
tion.
• Always hold the plug when removing it from the wall, do not pull
the cord.
• Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
• Do not allow the cord to come in to contact with the appliance
surface during operation.
• Do not run the cord under carpeting, mats or rugs etc. Arrange
the cord away from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped
over.
• Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance as this
may cause the insulation to weaken and split.
• This appliance is not intended for use by young children or in-
firm persons without supervision or given instructions by a per-
son responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised so that they do not play with the
appliance.
• This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
• The appliance should not be located immediately below or in
front of a socket- outlet.
• Do not use this appliance with any type of external timer.

• Never remove the cover of the appliance, in case of a fault con-
tact a qualified service center.
• Use this appliance only as described in this manual.
• Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and
may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• If the cord or any other part is damaged, you must contact any
SINGER Service Center or SINGER Client Service.
• The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the
present manual will automatically release Singer of any type of
responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries
to persons or animals.
• In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the ma-
chine made by unqualified persons or in case of improper use,
the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
This is an “IP24” heater which is constructed for pro-
tection against splashing and allowed to be in all rooms
including bathroom. The appliance must be placed 0.6
meter away from water sources, such as washbasin
and bathtub and out of reach of hands.
Meanwhile, please do not use shower nozzle to the
product directly while taking shower.

SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service
company that is mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the
product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord
is damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examina-
tion repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of the appli-
ance. This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service centre.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present
instruction manual will automatically release Singer of any type of respon-
sibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons or ani-
mals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made
by unqualified persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be
automatically cancelled.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Position the heater carefully upside down.
2. Place and press the wheels to the hole, then place the screws in the center
round hole of the foot base and screw in tightly with a screwdriver.

POSITIONING OF THE HEATER
The heater should only be operated at a minimum distance of 1 meter from any
wall or other object. Position the air flow in order to optimize the heating of the
room.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: When switched on for the first time a slight odor may be emitted for a few
minutes. This is harmless and occurs with most appliances as slight traces of
dust or lubricants may have collected during manufacture.
• Place the heater on a level surface in a stable upright position.
• Ensure power switches are in the “0” (OFF) position and the thermostat is in
the “•” (OFF) position.

• Unwind the power cord and plug your heater into a power socket (following
the instructions regarding positioning).
• Ensure the voltage on the specification plate is the same as in your home
and the power cord is lying safely on the ground.
• Switch the heater “ON” by selecting:
Model: SRMH-15
Heat Setting I: 1000W or
Heat Setting II: 1500W
Model: SRMH-20
Heat Setting I: 1000W or
Heat Setting II: 2000W
Model: SRMH-25
Heat Setting I: 1500W or
Heat Setting II: 2500W
• The heater operates when both the power switch and thermostat function
are activated.
• The red indicator light will be turn off when you turn off the appliance even if
the plug is still in the socket.
THERMOSTAT FUNCTION
• Set the desired room temperature by turning the thermostat dial clockwise
to the desired position. You may adjust the temperature during use. To turn
down the thermostat, turn the dial anti-clockwise.
• To find the ideal thermostat setting for you, first set the knob to the “maxi-
mum” position. As soon as the temperature is comfortable, turn the ther-
mostat down slowly, until the heater turns off. The heater will keep the sur-
rounding air at this set temperature by switching on and off at intervals. The
indicator light lights up when the heater is on.
• To switch the heater off fully, turn the power switches to “0” and the thermo-
stat to “•”. The indicator light will turn off also.

SAFETY FEATURES OVER-HEAT PROTECTION
• This heater is protected with an over-heat protection cut-out facility that
switches it off automatically if it over-heats.
• Overheating can be caused by obstruction to the air intakes on the back of
the heater or the grill on the front.
• If this occurs, please disconnect the heater from the power socket and allow it
to cool for 30 minutes. Remove any obstruction and turn the heater back on.
• The heater should operate normally.
Should the problem persist, contact the nearest authorized service center.
SAFETY CUT-OUT SWITCH
• The heater is fitted with a safety cut-out switch to switch the heater off if it is
knocked over.
• If the heater is knocked over and the cut-out switch activates, turn the heater
off at the power outlet and take EXTREME care when standing the heater
upright as it will still be hot.
• Inspect the heater for damage, especially to the heating elements and supply
cord.
• If any damage is visible do not operate the heater.
CLEANING AND CARE
• IMPORTANT: Turn off the heater. Switch off the power switch and disconnect
the heater from the power socket. Wait for the heater to be completely cool
before cleaning.
• Vacuum clean air vents and grilles to remove dust from these areas.
• To remove dust on external surfaces, wipe the heater with damp (not wet)
lint- free cloth rinsed in hot soapy water only.
• Do not use any harsh detergent or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not spray with liquids or submerge in liquids or water.
• Do not attempt to clean the interior of the heater.
• Do not attempt to open the heater casing at any time.

arate collection systems).
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this
product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be
handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will
help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human
health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of
this product. The recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources.
For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact
your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where
you purchased the product.
STORAGE
• Store the heater carefully in a dust-free area during the off season. It is ideal
to store the heater in the carton it was supplied in. Neatly wind the cord of the
heater to prevent damage to the cord.
