OTHER WARNINGS:
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with manufacturer’s
instructions. Do not store or operate product near heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Unplug the
Typhoon™ Speaker during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to Typhoon™. Product is manufactured to IP67 waterproofing
standards. Users should avoid excessive exposure to liquids/moisture/dripping/splashing
or full submersion. Failure to comply may result in product failure that is beyond the
stated warranty. Never expose the product to fire as this could result in personal injury.
Do not store the product in an extremely cold or warm environment. Do not clean
Typhoon™ with an abrasive cleaning solution. Never dismantle the product. Never let
children play with the product. Do not drop or throw the Typhoon™ Speaker. Doing so
could cause damage to the housing, speaker, battery, or mic. Do not stick anything
inside the Typhoon™ Speaker housing as it could damage internal components and
compromise the seal. The battery in this speaker cannot be replaced by the user.
Typhoon™ Speaker fits most tumbler style cups.
Check local laws regarding use of a mobile headset and speakerphone while driving.
If you use the hands-free speakerphone with this speaker while driving, ensure your
attention and focus remains on your responsibility of driving safety. Observe all signs that
require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched o in the designated areas.
These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive atmospheres.
Turn o your speaker and Bluetooth® signal prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not use
your speaker in an aircraft. The Typhoon™ Speaker employs Bluetooth® technology.
However, inoperability between the device and other Bluetooth® -enabled products is
not guaranteed due to compatibility.

• Fully charge for 2 hours before first use. The average run
time per full charge is about 6 hours (varies depending on
volume level).
• Connect one end of the charging cable to the micro USB C
port on the back side of your speaker under the port
protection flap (port protection flap should remain closed at
all times other than when charging).
•Connect the other end to a USB C port on your computer or
wall adapter (not included). The LED indicator light is solid
red while charging and will turn o when charging is
complete. Note: The speaker will audibly notify you when the
battery is low. You can also check the battery percentage on
some devices.
CHARGING YOUR TYPHOON™SPEAKER:
• DO NOT PLACE IN DISHWASHER. HAND WASH ONLY.
• While your speaker is IP67 waterproof, we recommend
using a damp cloth to clean your speaker by hand to extend
the life of your speaker.
CLEANING YOUR TYPHOON™SPEAKER:

• Press and hold the front Power button to turn on your
Typhoon™Speaker (The Typhoon™Speaker will audibly say
“Power On”). The LED typhoon symbol on the front of the
speaker will light up blue. Your Typhoon™Speaker will say
“Bluetooth Pairing”. Your speaker is now in pairing mode.
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®transmitting device is in
close proximity to your Typhoon™Speaker when pairing.
•Turn on your Bluetooth® transmitting device, turn on the
Bluetooth® function and then enter pairing mode. For more
information, see the instructions that came with your
Bluetooth® transmitting device.
• In the Bluetooth® settings on your Bluetooth® transmitting
device, select the appropriate “TYPHOON_SPK_CAT3”
device. When your Typhoon™ speaker and your Bluetooth®
device are connected, the LED typhoon symbol on the front
of the speaker will be solid blue and the speaker will audibly
say “Bluetooth is connected”.
•If having trouble finding Typhoon™Speaker as an available
Bluetooth® device on your phone, ensure you ‘disconnect’ or
‘forget device’ from any previous phone that it may have been
synced with.
CONNECTING TO AN AUDIO DEVICE:

• Connect your speaker to a Bluetooth®transmitting
device (as previously outlined).
• Play audio on your Bluetooth®transmitting device
(e.g. cellphone, computer or other device).
•Tap + or - to adjust the volume (single click or hold
+/- buttons to increase or decrease the volume) Note:
Make sure your device’s volume is set to at least 50%.
• Tap the forward or rewind buttons to change song
track.
• When music is playing, tap Play/Pause button to
pause music. Press Play/Pause to start the music
again.
USING YOUR TYPHOON™SPEAKER:

• Connect your Bluetooth®device to your primary
speaker as described in the previous instructions
page “Connecting to an Audio Device”. Make sure
the second speaker is powered o during this step.
• While in close proximity to the primary speaker,
power on the second speaker and tap the link symbol.
The speaker will then say “Typhoons connected”. The
two Typhoon™ speakers are now paired and your
speakers are now in stereo mode.
• If having trouble, ensure both speakers are not
connected to another device by “forgetting the device”
in your settings.
• To disconnect from stereo mode, simply tap the link
symbol on the back of either speaker to disconnect.
PAIRING ASECOND TYPHOON™SPEAKER
(STEREO SOUND):

• The primary speaker is the speaker that is directly
connected to the Bluetooth® source and will have
mic/phone capability.
• After disconnecting from stereo mode, if you wish to
reconnect to your own phone, you must do so directly
from the settings in your device.
• When powering down in stereo mode, both speakers
will turn o. If you want to prevent the primary speaker
from powering off, you must disconnect by tapping the
link symbol on the secondary speaker first.
