CAUTIONS
• Installing and operating the unit F 4 must be done outside of any magnetic field.
• Any iron device must be at least at 10 cm as a minimum.
• Use non magnetic connection (Brass, Stainless Steel or plastic).
• Verify the chemical compatibility between the fluid and F 4 materials.
• Pressure inside the tank and indicator, must be at 1 bar as a maximum or less.
PRINCIPLE
• This indicator allows a direct level reading, on time, on any liquid level (respecting chemical resistances) even when tank is opaque.
• Assembly is done above the tank. Float and index with magnet, are fixed on a stem.
• When indicator is on the tank, the float follows the liquid level increases, so does the index.
• Index with magnet can actuate one or more, B M 501 level switches.
• A graduated ruler (option) fit the indicator tube for a quantified reading.

MOUNTING
The indicator exceeds very widely the summit of the tank, it is necessary to make sure that there is enough space to take it up.
The indicator is linked to the tank by DN65 flange connection (F 4 model) or 2’’ threated connection (F 4 Fût model)
For contact adding or any option, please refer to owner’s manual of those device .The F 4 indicator is ready since its mounting
on the tank. The float follows level raising and the colored indicator shows level position on upper part of the device. To avoid
any overpressure which could prevent the float to go up, two little holes are located under the fixating flange.
MAINTENANCE
F 4 is a robust level indicator; it does not require specific maintenance. From time to time, clean the float and back face of tube.
