Daily maintenance
1.light source. The life of the light source is limited. In order to prolong the service
life of the light source, do not turn on the light source when the instrument is not in
use. The continuous use time of the instrument should not exceed 3 hours. If you need
to use it for a long time, it is best to pause for 30 minutes.
2.To avoid dust and contamination of the instrument, cover the dust cover when you
stop working.
3.The sample base should be cleaned regularly with a cotton swab and 75% alcohol.
After each experiment, scrub with water once to keep the test head clean.
4.Wipe the upper and lower bases with clean, lint-free paper before the instrument can
perform the next sample test.
5.If the instrument does not need to be energized regularly, it should be no less than
20~30min each time to keep the whole machine dry and maintain the performance of
electronic components.
Working environment requirements
1.The instrument should be placed in a dry room with a relative humidity of no more
than 85%.
2.The instrument should be placed on a sturdy, stable work surface and protected
from strong vibrations or constant vibration.
3.Indoor lighting should not be too strong, and direct sunlight should be avoided.
4.The fan should not be directly blown to the instrument to prevent the light source
lamp from affecting the normal use of the instrument due to unstable illumination.
5.Keep away from high-intensity magnetic fields, electric fields, and electrical
equipment that generate high-frequency waves.
6.The power supply voltage to the instrument is AC 100-220V, the frequency is
50/60Hz, and a good ground wire must be installed. It is recommended to use an
electronic AC voltage regulator or AC constant voltage regulator with a power of
more than 1000W to enhance the anti-jamming performance of the instrument.
7.Avoid use in places where corrosive gases such as hydrogen sulfide are present.

2. Product Introduction
The DW-K2800 is a measuring (230, 260, 280 nm) nucleic acid analyzer. The
instrument can accurately measure 1~2μL of micro-samples with good repeatability.
Comes with a computer, display and 2 USB ports, built-in software, no need to install,
can connect USB devices such as mouse, keyboard, printer, U disk, wireless network
card. The low concentration detection is more stable, the high concentration detection
range is wider, 200 times that of the conventional UV-Vis spectrophotometer, no
dilution is required, and no baseline calibration is required. The micro-mode sample is
used in a small amount, and the minimum measurement volume is 1 μL, which can be
used to detect nucleic acids, proteins, and the like. All data is automatically saved,
which is convenient for output data statistics, and the software is easy to grasp.
Principle
After the spectrophotometer is in the blank, the instrument automatically records
the spectral result of the blank reference solution and saves it as the light intensity
reference value of the wavelength. When the sample is tested, the light intensity
transmitted through the sample will be recorded. The transmitted light intensity of the
sample and the transmitted light intensity of the blank control are calculated according
to the following formula:
In this way, the absorbance at a specific wavelength can be calculated from the
transmitted light intensity of the sample and the blank.
The relationship between sample concentration and absorbance is determined by
Lambert-Beer's law:
A=ε b c
Among: A=Absorbance value(A)
ε=Wavelength dependent molar extinction coefficient(unit L/mol*cm)
b=Optical path(unit cm)
c=Sample concentration(unit mol/L)
Reference solutions, or blank solutions, are usually solvents that melt the
targeting molecule, which has the same pH and ionic strength as the sample solution.

The instrument has a built-in computer and does not require an external
computer. When the sample is detected, the sample can be dropped on the susceptor
to form a liquid column, and the ultra-micro mode is used to make the detection result
more precise.

3. Detection mode
1. Blank Use a pipette to take 1-2.5μl (depending on the actual situation)
buffer and drop it on the test pedestal (the base material is stainless steel and the
center point is quartz), the lower test head is the receiving end, and the upper test head
is The transmitting end.
2. Sample measurement Use a pipette to take 1-2.5 μl of the sample to be
tested and add it to the test pedestal. The protein sample should be tested with a
sample size of 2.0 μl.
3. Due to the inconsistent tension of different samples, in order to make the
sample form a liquid column better, the recommended sample detection amount is as
follows (the user can adjust according to the actual situation):
Nucleic acid solution: 1.5μl
Protein solution: 2.0μl
Other samples: 2μl
1.1 Basic operation
1. Lift the sample arm and pipette 1~2μL of sample solvent onto the susceptor.
2. Lower the sample arm and start the absorbance test using the software on your
computer. A sample column is automatically pulled between the upper and lower
fibers and then tested.
3. When the test is complete, lift the sample arm and clean the sample on the
upper and lower bases with clean, lint-free paper. This wipes the sample to avoid
residue on the susceptor.
