For optimal operation and to benet fully from the heat and sense of well-being given by your Sauna and Hammam/

Turkish Bath, please read this manual carefully before starting the NUVOLA SMART POWER up for the rst time and before

maintaining it.

Please remember that the product MUST NOT be used by children under 3 years of age. Children over 3 years of age must

always be closely supervised at all times!

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 WARNINGS AND SAFETY SYMBOLS

Whenever you see one of these symbols in the manual you must read the information given alongside as it is vital to ensure

correct use of your steam generator. Failure to read and take into account the information could seriously compromise the

safety of both objects and people.

DANGER - ATTENTION

This indicates situations of grave danger which, if ignored, could seriously compromise the health

and safety of the persons concerned.

CAUTION - PRECAUTION

This indicates you need to take all necessary measures and precautions to prevent accidents and/or

damage to objects and/or harm to people

NOTE

This indicates technical information of particular importance and which must not be overlooked.

DO NOT

Tells you not to do certain things that could cause accidents and/or damage property and/or

1.2 INTENDED USE

The product must be used exclusively in the ways and for the purposes for

which it was designed. Any other usage is to be considered improper and

therefore hazardous.

ANY OTHER APPLICATION IS NOT CONSIDERED USE FOR THE INTENDED

PURPOSE.

THE MANUFACTURER CANNOT BE MADE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE

OR HARM RESULTING FROM INCORRECT USE.

As the appliance contains live electrical components and hot surfaces, all servicing and/or maintenance

must be executed by an experienced and qualied technician taking all the necessary precautions.

Read the Assembly manual.

This manual is an integral part of the product and should be kept in a safe, accessible place.

1.3 WARNINGS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Children should not use Spas without adult supervision.

The equipment must not be used by children under the age of 8 and by people with reduced

physical, sensorial or mental capabilities or those lacking the necessary experience or knowledge,

other than under supervision, or if they have been given instructions for the safe use of the equip-

ment and therefore understand the risks involved in its use. Do not allow children to play with the

equipment.

Any cleaning and maintenance to be done by the user must not be done by children without

supervision.

People using medications and/or having an adverse medical history should consult a physician

before using a Spa.

Use of the Hammam/Turkish bath by people (adults or children) with impaired physical, sensorial

or mental capacities that may prevent the Hammam/Turkish bath being used in total safety must

be supervised or given special instructions.

People with infectious diseases should not use a Spa.

Carefully follow all the safety instructions and hazard warnings issued by the authorities of

individual countries.

Always carry out the prescribed checks, inspections and scheduled maintenance (see Chapter 7

of this manual).

To avoid injury, exercise care when entering or exiting the Spa.

Pregnant or possibly pregnant women should consult a physician before using a Spa.

Do not use a Spa immediately following strenuous exercise.

Do not permit electric appliances (such as a light, telephone, radio, or television) within 5‘ of this

Spa.

Maintain water chemistry in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Be careful when using the equipment because of the release of hot water steam.

Disconnect the equipment during relling and cleaning.

Take great care using the Turkish bath. The steam diuser emits hot steam . Do not touch the

steam diuser.

The use of alcohol or drugs can greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia in Spas.

Do not, for any reason, remove the adhesive labels xed to the generator. If these deteriorate,

order replacements.

Use of the steam generator for any purposes other than those for which it has been specically

designed in strictly prohibited.

Enter the Turkish bath cubicle once it is full of steam.

All users must be informed and given instructions about how to use it.

Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees

above the normal body temperature of 98.6 °F.

The symptoms of hyperthermia include drowsiness, lethargy, and an increase in the internal

temperature of the body.

The eects of hyperthermia include

- Unawareness of impending hazard;

- Failure to perceive heat;

- Failure to recognize the need to exit spa;

- Physical inability to exit spa;

- Fetal damage in pregnant women;

- Unconsciousness.

The steam and warm air outlet is located in the area underneath the column. Do not cover or

place objects in this area since this may interfere with the proper functioning of the equipment.

The front panel of the steam generator is made of glass and therefore pay attention to the heat.

When installing the appliance all the precautions necessary for glass must be taken.

While using the turkish bath, pay attention to the wet oor that may be slippery.

Make sure that the cabin door is fully closed, before starting the Hammam/turkish bath.

Do not introduce other electrical appliances into the steam generator or bring them into the

Hammam/Turkish bath cucible.

Do not introduce animals in the cabin.

Never place in the cabin other objects.

2 SCOPE OF THE MANUAL

The purpose of this manual is to provide a guide to the proper use and maintenance of a NUVOLA SMART POWER product.

Keeping your product in good working order depends largely on eective cleaning and maintenance (see chapter 7 of this

manual).

Therefore it is extremely important to learn how to clean and maintain it properly.

The instructions for the functions and ways to use the product provide only the necessary basic information and only

experience can teach you how to get the best out of it and to exploit its full potential for meeting the needs of your body.

The NUVOLA SMART POWER has been built in compliance with the following mandatory safety standards:

- CSA Standard C22.2 No 0 General Requirements - Canadian Electrical Code, Part II;

- CSA Standard C22.2 No 0.4 Bonding and Grounding of Electrical Equipment

(Protective Grounding);

- CSA Standard C22.2 No 218.1 Spas, Hot Tubs and Associated Equipment;

- ANSI/UL Standard 1563 - Spas and Hot Tubs [Certied to US Standards].

On the basis of our on-going quest for improvement, your product may present some variations that are not referred to in

this manual, but any dierences are minor and of no great importance.

2.1 PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION DETAILS

All the information necessary for identifying your product (product type, model, electrical power, voltage,

registration number, year of construction, manufacturer and CE markings), can be found on the plate under the

heater guard on the wall behind the heater.

2.3 DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

This equipment comes within the scope of EU Directive 2012/19/EU (the WEEE Directive).

Therefore, at the end of its lifetime, this product must be disposed of separately and not treated as urban waste.

The equipment must be delivered to a collection centre licensed under the terms of Directive 2012/19/EU. The

user may request the supplier to take the equipment back when an equivalent new appliance is delivered.

An adhesive label bearing the symbol shown to the right is xed to the equipment. This

symbol indicates that the equipment must not be disposed of as urban waste.

3.YOUR HAMMAM/TURKISH BATH  GENERAL INFORMATION

The principle on which the Turkish Bath works is by heating the air inside a closed cubicle with steam, reaching a

maximum temperature of 118°F and a relative humidity of 100%.

The non-pressurised steam is produced by the generator whose heating elements are immersed in the water

inside the boiler. The steam thus generated then lls the Turkish bath cubicle.

The sophisticated electronics with which every EFFEGIBI generator is equipped ensure perfect functioning with

constant water-exchange, optimised energy consumption and automated boiler-cleaning.

The quality of the water used does not aect the evaporation process and therefore the generator may be fed

with non-treated water, provided it is drinking water, or water treated with a softener. The evaporated water is

automatically reintegrated through a relling valve.

This equipment has been designed exclusively to humidify by way of steam conveyed into the cubicle by internal

distributors. It performs this function provided that installation, use and maintenance are carried out according

to the instructions given in this manual and to the information shown on the labels axed inside and outside the

unit.

The environmental conditions and the voltage must be according to the specications given.
