Overview

Hewlett-Packard utilizes numerous marketing model numbers and nomenclature to identify Enterprise Server

products. Within a product family, the marketing modelnumber typically identifies differences in the processor and

I/O options. A product family is defined as a group of products wherein the form, fit, function, and power

subsystem are essentially the same. Our practice is to assign a "regulatory number" to a product family to support

monitoring and control of changes that potentially impact safety and EMC. The assigned regulatory product

numbers for this product are RSVLA-0108 and RSVLA-0108-DC. The regulatory product numbers RSVLA-0108

and RSVLA-0108-DC are equivalent to the marketing designations referenced throughout this document.

foam pad.

• Always wear a grounded wrist strap when working around the system, and when handling printed circuit

boards.

• Avoid working in carpeted areas, and keep body movement to a minimum while removing or installing boards,

to minimize buildup of static charge.

Cabinet Safety Precautions

WARNING Cabinets are heavy even when empty. Exercise caution when moving cabinets whether

equipment is installed in the cabinet or not. Avoid rolling cabinets on rough or uneven

surfaces or inclines greater than 10 degrees. Unloading cabinets from the pallet and

movement of cabinets should be performed by at least two people.

WARNING Slideable products are not to be extended from the cabinet while the equipment is on the

shipping pallet. The cabinet must be unloaded from the pallet and both front and rear anti-tip

feet properly installed prior to extending any slideable product.

WARNING Once installed, both the front and rear anti-tip feet must remain in place to maintain stability.

Only one slideable product must be extended at a time.

WARNING Use of any slide mount product requires the installation of a cabinet anti-tip device.

The anti-tip device for the following cabinet products is a pair of anti-tip feet: A4900A,

A4901A, A4902A, A5134A, A5135A, A5136A, J1500A, J1501A, and J1502A.

Install both front and rear anti-tip feet on the cabinet before installing any slide mount

product.

The anti-tip device for the following cabinets is the installation of ballast in the bottom of the

cabinet: A1896A, A1897A, A1883A, A1884A, C2785A, C2786A, and C2787A.

http://www.hp.com/racksolutions/prodinfo/index.html.

lesões as pessoas.
