USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DESIGNATED PURPOSE
•Please read through the operating instructions and safety infor-
mation before starting-up for the first time!
•Solitair seed drills equipped with the Solitronic electronic seed
drill control system are designed to be used solely for general ag-
ricultural work (Use in accordancewith designated purpose)!
Any other form of deployment is regarded to be not in conformance with the des-
ignated purpose. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage re-
sulting from improper usage; the risk shall be borne here solely by the user!
Use in accordance with designated purpose also includes adherence to the
manufacturer's specified operating, maintenance and repair conditions!
•Solitair seed drills equipped with Solitronic electronic seed drill control systems
may only be operated, serviced and repaired by persons familiar with conduct-
ing such tasks and who are aware of the hazards involved!
•The pertinent accident-prevention regulations as well as any generally ap-
proved safety-related, industrial medicine and road-traffic related regulations
must be adhered to!
•The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from arbi-
trary modifications to the seed drill!
IMPORTANT NOTE!
These operating instructions describe the important functions and equipment vari-
ants that can be operated and monitored when using the Solitronic electronic
seed drill control system. Not all of these functions and equipment variants are
included in the implement's basic equipment specification!
The function cannot be assumed to be available on the implement if there is no
"Option" reference available.

1 POWER SUPPLY
The connecting cable for the Solitronic electronic seed drill control system's power
supply must be connected straight to the tractor's battery. An operating voltage of
12 Volt is required. A 40A fuse is located inside the connecting cable to the bat-
tery.
2 BASIC INFORMATION
2.1 Field of application
The Solitronic electronic seed drill control system, version 1.51 was developed for
controlling, monitoring and adjusting the Compact Solitairplus H9 and Compact So-
litairplus HD9 tilling combinations.
•The Compact Solitair H9 can only be used to spread seed.
•The Compact Solitair HD9 can spread both seed and fertiliser. Fertiliser can
only be spread however, when the "Fertilising and drilling" option is switched
on.
The control terminal on the electronic seed drill control system can also be used
to activate and deactivate the following independently of each other:
•the track marking folding device,
•the raising and lowering of the coulter bar
•the raising and lowering of the seeding rail
•the raising and lowering of the leading roller with seeding rail and
•the raising and lowering of the heliodor section
and the time delay between raising and lowering the Heliodor section and seeding
rail can also be adjusted.
•Before any transport, the control terminal must be switched off!

2.2 Control terminal
The "Solitronic" electronic seed drill control system is operated using the control
terminal (1). It consists of a display (8), function buttons (3), shift buttons (7) and a
shaft encoder (5) with confirmation button.
1 - Control terminal
2 - On/Off switch
3 - Function buttons
4 - ESC button (Return button)
5 - Rotary switch with confirmation button (push button)
6 - Emergency stop switch

2.3 Displays and menus
Depending on the equipment available on each seed drill or implement combina-
tion, several displays on the control terminal may differ from those shown here in
these operating instructions. A special reference is given where this is of rele-
vance to operation of the implement.
2.4 Function of switches and buttons
2.4.1 On/Off switch
The On/Off switch (2) has to be pressed and held for 2 seconds to switch the
electronic see drill control system on or off again.
2.4.2 Function buttons
When a function button (3) is pressed the function situated directly next to it in the
display (8) is then executed or activated.

2.4.3 Rotary switch with confirmation button
Turning the rotary switch with confirmation button (5) enables values to be se-
lected and entered, they can then be confirmed by pressing the button.
2.4.4 ESC button
Pressing the ESC button (4) takes you back to the previous menu.
2.4.5 Switching keys
When a switching key (7) is pressed a function shown and activated immediately
above in the display (8) is either switched on or off.
2.4.6 LEDs
If a switching key (7) has been pressed, e.g. for a sub-width cut-off, it is indicated
by the corresponding LED (9) lighting up.
