OPERATING THE OMNIKCAUDIO
Note: Please allow the device to charge 4-6 hours before use.
HOW TO CHARGE THE OMNIKCAUDIO
1. Remove the cap from the top of the device (see page 3).
2. Plug the MicroUSB cable into the USB port on the device
(see page 3).
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your PC or into a
AC wall charger.
HOW TO TURN ON THE OMNIKCAUDIO
1. Press and release the Power button (see page 3). The red
LED indicator light will turn on and be solid.
2. The device is now on.
3. To turn off the device, press and hold the Power button
once more. The LED will turn off, and the device is now off.
HOW TO USE MANUAL RECORDING
1. Make sure the Record Mode switch is to the right.
2. Power on the device and wait until the LED turns solid red.
3. Press the Manual Record button (see page 3). The red LED
will flash, and the device has begun recording.
4. To stop recording, press the Manual Record button once
more. Once the red LED turns solid, the device has
stopped recording and automatically saved the file.
HOW TO USE VOICE ACTIVATION MODE
1. Flip the Record Mode switch to the left.
2. Power on the device.
3. Once the device detects audio, the LED will flash red, and
the device will begin recording.
a. It will record for 30 seconds. If there is no more
voice detected within those 30 seconds, the device
will save the audio file and return to standby mode.

4. If the device does not detect audio, the LED will be solid
green while it is in standby mode. Once voices are
detected, the device will begin recording.
5. To turn off voice activation mode, power off the device,
and flip the Record Mode switch back to the left. When
you power on the device again, it will be in manual
recording mode.
HOW TO USE PLAYBACK
1. Power on the device.
2. Once the device is on, press the Playback button. The
device will begin playing the first audio file in its storage.
a. To stop playing, press the Playback button again,
and the device will stop playing.
3. You can skip playback files by pressing the Playback button
while it’s playing. The current audio file will stop playing.
Press and release the On/Off button, and the device will
skip to the next audio recording and begin playing it.
4. You can manually delete the audio files on your device.
While listening to a file you wish to delete, press the
Playback button to stop.
a. Press and hold the Manual Record button.
b. The file has been deleted.
HOW TO ENABLE VIBRATION
1. Power on the device, and wait until the LED is solid red.
2. Press and hold the Playback button. The device will vibrate
once, and it is now in vibration mode.
3. To exit vibration, press and hold the Playback button once
more. The device will vibrate once, and it has exited
vibration.

CHANGING THE DATE/TIME STAMP
1. Retrieve the MicroSD Card from your device (see page 3)
and insert it into the supplied card reader.
2. Plug the card reader into your PC. Locate the “Removable
Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.
3. On your PC, create a txt file named “TM”, and fill in the
current time. Be sure to format it like below:
a. Current time: April 23, 2018 11:24am
b. Example: 20180423112400
4. Copy the “TM” text file from your computer, and paste it
into the MicroSD Card (“Removable Disk”).
5. Eject the MicroSD Card from your computer and plug it
into the device.
6. Power on the device and conduct a test recording to
ensure the date/time stamp as successful.
RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1. Remove the MicroSD Card from the device, and plug it into
your computer using the supplied card reader.
2. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.

Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk
3. Open the Removable Disk drive.
4. Open the [folder name] folder.
5. Double click the file you want to view.

TROUBLESHOOTING
THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
Make sure the battery is charged.
Make sure the power cables are completely plugged in
while charging.
