APERTURE SETTING / F-STOP
Rotate the mode dial to A.
Rotate the Sub-command Dial to
adjust the aperture.

command dial until the desired setting is displayed in
the control panel, viewfinder or information display.

FOCUS MODE
To select the required mode, press the AF-mode
button and rotate the Main Command Dial until the
desired setting is displayed
- Camera auto selects for stationary or moving subject
- For stationary subjects.
- For moving subjects.

Rotate the focus-mode selector to AF
Press the AF-mode button and rotate the sub-command
dial until the desired setting is displayed in the viewfinder
of control panel.
FOCUS POINT
- For stationary objects. Focus point is selected manually.
- For non-stationary objects. In AF-A and AF-C, select focus point using multi selector.
- In AF-A and AF-C, select focus point using multi selector. If subject moves, camera
uses 3D-tracking to refocus.
- Camera automatically detects subject and selects focus point. Page 7

FOCUS POINT (SET MANUALLY)
Manual focus is available for lenses that do not
support autofocus, or when autofocus does not give
the result you are looking for.
To focus manually, adjust the lens focus ring until the
image displayed on the clear matter field in the
viewfinder is in focus.

CONTINUOUS SHOOTING MODE
Camerawill continue to take photographs while the
shutter-release button is pressed all the way down.
-- CL (Continuous Low Speed): while shutter-release
button is held down, camera records 1-6 frames/second
-- CH (Continuous High Speed): while shutter-release
button is held down, camera records up to 6.5
frames/second. Page 9

Press the mode dial lock release and turn the
release mode dial to CL or CH.
Press the shutter-release button half way to focus, then press the
rest of the way down. The self-timer lamp will start to flash. Two
seconds before the photo is taken, the lamp will stop flashing. The
shutter will be release ten seconds after the timer starts.
