GENERAL

These luminaires are used in places

where emergency luminaires are needed.

Each luminaire must be permanently

co nn ec te d t o m ai ns po we r s up pl y.

Internally, the product consists of 2

subsystems, 1 for each lamp. Each

subsystem contains 2 batteries that are

c h a r g e d a n d d i s c h a r g e d a n d a r e

i n d e p e n d e n t f r o m t h e o t h e r .

Due to this, each lamp lights with its own

b a t t eries and th u s d u r i n g a d e e p

discharge will go OFF at a slightly different

instance compared to the other lamp.

In the event of a power failure, the

luminaire will automatically light both

lamps. When the mains power supply is

restored the luminaire returns to normal

charging operation.

The perimeter of the TEST button contains

a green charge indicator. When the unit is

connected to the power supply and the

batteries are also connected, the green

indicator blinks to show that the batteries

are charging but are not fully charged.

When the batteries are fully charged then

the indicator stays ON continuously. On

every press of the TEST button and for as

long as the test is conducted, the indicator

w i l l b e O F F. I f t h e b a t t e r i e s a r e

disconnected the indicator will also be

turned OFF. In order to do a complete

duration test please be sure that the

indicator is continuously ON. If it is blinking

it is a sign of a power failure and that the

batteries are not fully charged. Let the

batteries charge until the indicator stops

blinking and then conduct the duration test.

ΑΤΤΕΝΤΙΟΝ!!!

1. Operations for installation, maintainance

or testing must be done by authorized

personnel only.

2. The device must be connected to the

mains power supply through a fuse

dependent by the total amount of the line’s

power load.

3. It is suggested to check every 6 months

the minimum autononous duration by

disconnecting the mains power supply.

Count the time that the lamps light and in

case of less time than the minimum

autonomous duration the batteries must be

r eplac e d . I f t he mea s u r e d t ime is

considerably less than the minimum

autonomous duration contact the installer.

Congratulations for your selection to buy this product.

the luminaire with the mounting screws.

3. Make sure that the battery’s cables are connected to the respective poles. Black cable to (-)

pole and red cable to (+) pole.

4. Always use in any case round mains cable, with diameter of 6-9mm (H05RN-F

type 3x1mm² or any other type, at least equal to it’s mechanical and electrical

properties).

ATTENTION!! The cable must not be deformed in any way (This requirement is

important to ensure the tightness isolation IP 65). Install the cable gland, pass the round
