WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and
should not be used for any other purpose or in any other
application, such as for nonͲdomestic use or in a commercial
environment.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to
the supply mains.
The plug must be removed from the socketͲoutlet before the
water reservoir is filled with water.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
The iron must only be used with the stand provided.
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
whichthestandisplacedisstable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
Regarding the detail information of filling and cleaning, refer to
the sections “Operation, Cleaning and maintenance”.

xOnly open the steam tank safety cap when the appliance has been disconnected from the mains
supply and has cooled completely as there may still be steam in the tank. Never openthe safety cap
when the product is in use as there is a risk of scalding fromhigh pressure steam.
xWhen refilling the pressure tank only use distilled / clean water. Do not fill the water tank with
vinegar, fabric softener, descaler, additives, perfumes or other chemical agents.

NOTE:
It is normal that strange odour will come out of the iron when operating the iron for the first
time. This will cease after a short while.
Some particles may come ou
t
of the soleplate when operating the iron
f
or the
f
irst time. This is
normal. The particles are harmless and will stop coming out of the iron after a short while.
When operating the steam generator, i
t
may produce a pumping sound. This is normal. The
sound tells you that water is being pumped into the steam generator.
During the heating process of thesoleplate, there will be a littlesteam coming out from the
soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue for about 3 seconds. This is
normal.
Ironing Temperature Setting Guide
READ THE GARMENT LABELS AND FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER’S IRONING INSTRUCTIONS THAT
ARE OFTEN SHOWN BY SYMBOLS SIMILAR TO THE ONES BELOW:
xThe iron heats up more quickly than it cools down. Therefore, start ironing articles that need to be
ironed at the lowest temperature, such as those made of synthetic fibres.
xI
f
the fabric consists o
f
various kinds o
f
fibres, always select the temperature required by the most
delicate fibres, i.e.the lowest temperature.
xSilk and other fabrics that are likely to become shiny should be ironedon the inner side.
xVelvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one direction with light
pressure applied. Always keep the iron moving at any moment.
xIf you do not know what kind of fabric the article is made of, iron a piece ofthe material which is
not visible when you wear it to find out the appropriate temperature for your articles.
xPure woollen fabrics (100% wool) should be ironed with the steam ironing. It isrecommended to
set the temperature dial tothe maximum position and use a drypressing cloth
xNever iron over zip, rivet in the cloth. This will damage the soleplate. Iron around any such
object.
xWhen steam ironing woollen fabrics, shiny patches may occur.You may prevent this by turning
the article inside out and ironing the reverse side.
Steam Ironing
Before ironing, check that the garment to be ironed is suitable for steam ironing.
Always make sure the appliance is unplugged before filling the water tank.
1. Place the appliance on a stable level surface.
2. Press the tab under the water tank handle to remove the water tank out
of the base unit.

3. Lift the filling cap and fill with water up to the MAX fill line. Replace the
filling cap.
xIt is recommended to use purified water.
4. Attach the water tank back to thebase unit until a click is heard.
5. Make sure that the iron is placed properly on the thermal insulation pad.
6. Plug the appliance tothe mains socket and press to turn on the appliance.
xThe indicator light will illumiante.
7. Turn the temperature dial to your desired setting.
xThe temperature indicator light on the iron will illuminate.
8. When the temperature indicator light on the iron goes out, the set temperature has been reached
and the iron is ready for use.
9. To obtain continuous flow of steam during ironing, wait for the
steam indicator light to illuminate and then press and hold
the steam trigger to deliver steam through the soleplate.
xATTENTION! If there is no steam sprayed out of the
soleplate after pressing down the steam trigger to release
steam for 1 minute, you shall check the water in the water tank. If there is less water left in the
water tank, you shall refill the water tank.
xTo refill the water tank, please turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
Slide out the water tank and then refill with water up to the MAX fill line.
Dry Ironing
To iron without steam, first connect the appliance to the mains socket and then press to turn
on the appliance. Select the desired temperature by turning the temperature dial. Wait until the
temperature indicator light goes out, indicating that the desired temperature has been reached.
For dry ironing it is not necessary to press and hold the steam trigger.

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé
par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des personnes de
qualification similaire afin d'éviter un danger.
L'utilisateur ne doit pas laisser le fer sans surveillance lorsqu'il
est raccordé à l'alimentation.
La fiche de prise de courant doit être retirée du socle de prise
de courant avant de remplir le réservoir d'eau.
L'orifice de remplissage ne doit pas être ouvert pendant le
fonctionnement.
Le fer ne doit être utilisé qu'avec le reposeͲfer fourni.
Le fer à repasser doit être utilisé et reposé sur une surface
stable.
Lorsque le fer est remis sur son reposeͲfer, s’assurer que la
surface qui supporte le reposeͲfer est stable.
Le fer à repasser ne doit pas être utilisé s'il a subi une chute, s'il
y a des signes visibles de dommages ou s'il fuit.
Le fer à repasser et son cordon d'alimentation doivent toujours
être hors de portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans quand il est
sous tension ou pendant le refroidissement.
