IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
1. Read all instructions.
2. Close supervision is necessary for any
appliance being used by or near
children. Do not leave appliance
unattended while connected.
3. To reduce the risk of contact with hot
water emitting from steam vents, check
appliance before each use by holding
it away from body and operating
steam button.
4. Use appliance only for its intended use.
5. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do
not immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
6. Never yank cord to disconnect from
outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to
disconnect.
7. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
Let appliance cool completely before
putting away. Loop cord loosely around
appliance or use cord wrap feature
when storing.
8. Always disconnect appliance from
electrical outlet when filling with water
or emptying, and when not in use.
9. Do not operate appliance with a
damaged cord, or if the appliance has
been dropped or damaged. To reduce
the risk of electric shock, do not dis-
assemble or attempt to repair the
appliance. Take it to a qualified service
person for examination and repair.
Incorrect reassembly or repair could
cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons when the appliance is
used.
10. Burns could occur from touching hot
metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use
care when you turn a steam appliance
upside down—there may be hot
water in the reservoir.
11. To avoid a circuit overload, do not
operate another high-wattage
appliance on the same circuit.
12. If an extension cord is absolutely
necessary, a 15-ampere cord should be
used. Cords rated for less amperage
may overheat. Care should be taken
to arrange the cord so that it cannot
be pulled or tripped over.
13. WARNING! Shock Hazard: This appli-
ance has a polarized plug (one wide
blade) that reduces the risk of electric
shock. The plug fits only one way into
a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the
safety purpose of the plug by modify-
ing the plug in any way or by using an
adapter. If the plug does not fit,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
have an electrician replace the outlet.
This product is intended for household
use only.
Direct steam at clothing only. Directing
steam toward any other surface may
damage that surface.
• Do not steam clothes that are being
worn.
• Do not use steam in the direction of
people or pets.
2
When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:

HOW TO STEAM
BURN HAZARD.
Steam is hot. Always make sure unit is OFF when assembling attachments.
wWARNING
Fill with cool water UP TO MAX FILL
LINE ONLY using the fill/drain hole.
NEVER use fabric fresheners or other
additives in the steamer.
The float ball will rise to the top of
the tank when it reaches full capacity.
IMPORTANT: Maximum capacity is 1
liter or 34 ounces. DO NOT OVERFILL.

NOTE: The fixed vent opening in the
cover allows excess steam to escape. Position door hook over top of a
door.
6
5
Elevate spray nozzle by hanging on
door hook. This avoids pooling of
condensation in hose.
NOTE: Always elevate steam nozzle
during heat-up and use.
Plug unit into electrical outlet.
WARNING! Burn Hazard: Always
place steamer on the floor during
use. Hot water can leak from the
steamer if tipped over.

COMPACT GARMENT STEAMER TIPS
NOTICE: To avoid garment damage, check garment label for fabric composition and any
steaming instructions such as this symbol:
• Do not operate without water in the water tank. To add water during operation, first
switch steamer OFF (O) and then use a pitcher to refill.
• To prevent spotting, make sure hose is straight during use (no loops).
• The door garment hanger is not intended for hanging multiple garments at one time
or for garment storage.
• When steaming, touching fabrics lightly with the steam nozzle/handle will assist in
wrinkle removal. It is important to make contact with the garment and/or fabric.
• Always place steamer on floor, and hang garments with garment hanger hooked
onto a door. This also helps ensure hose extends fully.
• For more difficult wrinkles, try steaming from the underside of the fabric. This allows
the fibers in the material to relax.
• Pants are more easily steamed upside down, with pants hanging from cuffs.
• Your garment steamer is also ideal for steaming curtains, upholstery, and other fabric
items that are difficult or unable to be ironed.
Do not use steam

CARE AND CLEANING (CONT.)
Wrap cord around the cord wrap on
bottom of steamer. Wrap flexible steam hose around top
of steamer base and slide nozzle
down onto storage hook.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Unit won’t steam.
Not enough steam.
Flexible steam hose
drips and/or leaks.
Steamer leaves water
spots on clothing.
Flexible steam hose
emits a gurgling
noise.
PROBABLE CAUSE
• Make sure there is water in the water tank and
unit is plugged in and switched to ON (I)
position.
• Water deposits have built up in unit. See “Care
and Cleaning” section.
• Do not hold the steam handle/nozzle too low for
more than 20 seconds, or steam will condense
into water inside the hose and may block nor-
mal steam flow. Periodically lift steam nozzle/
handle as high as possible to let any condensa-
tion in flexible steam hose drain back into unit.
• Do not allow loops in the flexible steam hose
for more than 20 seconds.
• Allow enough time (approximately 2 minutes)
for steamer to preheat before use.
• Periodically lift steam nozzle/handle as high as
possible to let any condensation in flexible
steam hose drain back into unit.
• Normal during use. To maintain steam flow,
fully extend flexible steam hose to allow steam
to flow freely.
