ThisistheHarbourAcceptanceTestfortheSimradFX80Catchmonitoringsystem.
ThepurposeofthisHarbourAcceptanceTestistoverifythattheFX80systemprovidedto
thevesseliscorrectlyinstalled,andfullyfunctional.ItisthenreadyfortheSeaAcceptance
Test.Whenallthetaskshavebeendone,thereportformmustbesignedbytherelevant
parties.Thecompleteddocumentthenbecomestheofcialreport.

TheSimradFX80CatchmonitoringsystemcanbeprovidedwiththeoptionalSimrad
DFS75Trawlsonarsubsystem.ThisdocumentonlydescribesthetestfortheFX80units
andtheoperationalfunctionalityofferedbytheFX80software.ForDFS75trawlsonar
procedures,refertothededicatedHarbourAcceptanceTest.

ThisHarbourAcceptanceTestisdoneonboardthevessel,alongsidethequay.Thetestis
donebypersonnelfromKongsbergMaritime.Allpersonnelmusthavegoodknowledge
oftheproductand/ormodule(s)athand.
ArepresentativefromanauthorizeddealerordistributorcandotheHarbourAcceptance
TestonbehalfofKongsbergMaritime.
Representativesfromtheclientand/orenduserarenormallypresenttowitnessthetest
andresults.
Aswithallassemblyandtestproceduresrelatedtoadvancedtechnicaland/orelectronic
equipment,theskilloftheoperatorisvitaltoasuccessfulcompletionofthetasks.Theonly
waytosecurehighqualityofourproductsisrstrateworkmanshipandhighprofessional
standardsthroughouttheproductionchain.
Itisequallyimportantthatallmembersoftheproductionandtestcrewsshowinitiative,and
arewillingtosuggestimprovementstofunctionality,design,proceduresanddocuments.If
youndamistakeinadocument,orndthatinformationismissing,offerthisinformation
