Notes:

• HDD/SSD drives are sensitive to static electricity and must be handled carefully

so as not to risk data loss. Always handle an HDD/SSD drive with caution by

wearing an anti-static strap (such as Tripp Lite’s P999-000) when transporting

it or by touching a grounded metal surface to discharge yourself of static

electricity before touching the drive.

• If your SATA drive has not been formatted, you must do so using your

computer’s Disk Management Utility in order to copy and access ﬁles.

• Before unplugging the enclosure, properly eject the drive from your computer

to avoid potential data loss.

1. Make sure the Lock/Unlock button on the bottom of the unit is

switched to Unlock.

2. Slide the covers away from each side of the enclosure to reveal the

double-sided drive tray.

3. Slide a 2.5-inch HDD/SSD into each drive tray.

4. Line up the SATA plug on the drives to the SATA reciprocals on each

drive tray.

5. Slide the covers back onto each side of the enclosure.

6. Switch the Lock/Unlock button to Lock.

7. Set the RAID conﬁguration. See the RAID Mode section and table

for instructions on how to do this.

8. After changing the DIP switches as desired, hold down the Reset

button until the LEDs quickly blink. If successful, the LED next to the

chosen setting will stay on.

9. Power on the unit by connecting the included USB 2.0 power cable

between the DC In port and your computer’s USB port or a USB

charger.

10.Connect the included USB 3.0 cable between the unit’s USB port

and the host computer’s USB port.

11.The unit is now ready to use.

RAID Mode

This unit can be set to function in one of three modes: JBOD, RAID1 or

RAID2. Each mode is described below along with their corresponding

DIP switch setting.

TRIPP LITE warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period

of one (1) year from the date of initial purchase. TRIPP LITE’s obligation under this warranty is limited

to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under

this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from TRIPP LITE or

an authorized TRIPP LITE service center. Products must be returned to TRIPP LITE or an authorized

TRIPP LITE service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief

description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does

not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication or has

been altered or modiﬁed in any way.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,

INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid

limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL TRIPP LITE BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT,

Notas:

• Los discos HDD / SSD son sensibles a la estática y deben manejarse con

cuidado de modo que no haya riesgo de pérdida de datos Siempre maneje

una unidad HDD / SSD con cuidado usando una correa antiestática (como

1. Asegúrese de que el botón de Bloqueo / Desbloqueo en la parte

2. Deslice las cubiertas de cada lado del gabinete para mostrar la

3. Deslice un disco HDD / SSD de 2.5 pulg. en cada bandeja de la

unidad.

4. Alinee la clavija SATA en los discos con los correspondientes SATA

en cada bandeja de la unidad.

5. Deslice las cubiertas a su posición original en cada lado del

gabinete.

6. Cambie el botón de Bloqueo / Desbloqueo a Bloqueo.

7. Establezca la conﬁguración RAID. Consulte la sección y la tabla de

Modo RAID para tener instrucciones de cómo hacerlo.

8. Después de cambiar los switches para conﬁguración según se

desee, mantenga oprimido el botón de restaurar hasta que los

LEDs destellen rápidamente. Si tiene éxito, el LED al lado de la

conﬁguración elegida permanecerá encendido.

9. Encienda la unidad conectando el cable de alimentación USB

2.0 entre el puerto de entrada de CD y el puerto USB de su

computadora o un cargador USB.

10.Conecte el cable USB 3.0 incluido entre el puerto USB de la unidad

y el puerto USB de la computadora anﬁtrión.

11.La unidad está ahora lista para usarse.
