HOW TO USE IRON
Setting The Temperature
• Theindicatorlampswitches‘On’withtheapplianceandindicatesthatthe
soleplateisheatingup.Oncethedesiredtemperatureisachievedthe
signallightwillturn‘Off’soleplateheatingis‘OFF’.Sostartironingyour
fabric.TheindicatorlightwillswitchON/OFFfromtimetotimeinorderto
regulatethetemperatureofthesoleplate.
• Alwayscheckfirstwhetherironinginstructionsareattachedtothearticles
tobeironed.(Theycanbefoundonthelabel)
• Ifironinginstructionsaremissingbutyoudoknowthekindoffabric,refer
thetemperaturetable.
• Textiletowhichsomekindoffinishhasbeenapplied(gloss,wrinkle,relief
etc.)canbeironedatsomewhatlowertemperature.
• Ifthefabricconsistsofvariouskindsoffibresyoumustalwaysselectthe
lowestironingtemperatureofthecomposition(e.g.anarticleconsisting
of60%polyester and40%cotton,shouldbeironedat thetemperature
indicatedforpolyester).
• Velvetandothertextileswhichrapidlyacquireshinyspotshouldbeironed
inonedirectiononly,applyinglightpressure.
• Sortyourclothestakingintoaccountthenatureoffabricandstartironing
clothesthataremoresensitivetoheat(i.e.requiresacoolertemperature
setting)
• Alwayskeeptheironmoving.

HINT FOR CARE OF THE IRON
To keep the sole plate of your iron clean at all times:
• Donotplacethesoleplateonaroughorabrasivesurface.
• Donotusetheirononmetallicfittings,zipsetc.toavoidscratches.
• Aftereachuse,cleanwithadampclothwhentheironisstillwarm.For
stubbornmarks,cleanwithvinegarwhentheironiscoldandthenclean
withdampcloth.
• Neverimmersetheironinwater.
• Neverselecthighertemperatureforthearticletobeironedotherwiseyou
runtheriskofscorchingthefabricanddamagingthesoleplate.
STORING
• Before storing let the iron cool down sufficiently (standing on the back
rest).
• Cleantheironwithadampcloth.
• Storetheironstandingonitsbackresttopreventdamagestothesole
plate.

The warranty is valid only when:
1) Theappliancehasbeeninstalled,usedandmaintainedinaccordance
withtheinstructionmanual.
2) Thewarrantycardandcashmemodulysignedbytheauthorizeddealer
arepresentedwiththecomplaint.
3) The appliance has not been opened or tampered with, by any
unauthorizedperson.
This warranty does not apply for:
1) Damagesduetochipping,peeling,platinganddenting.
2) BreakageordamagetocomponentsmadeoutofBakelite,Urea,ABS,
SANandsuchplasticmaterials,rubberpartsandcord.
3) Normalwearandtearofparts.
4) Damageresultingfromaccidents,mishandlingornegligenceonpartof
thecustomer.
