3. ASSEMBLY
Before any work on the device, remove the
battery.
The battery must be charged before first use.
Inserting / replacing the battery (Fig. C)
Ensure that the exterior of the battery is
clean and dry before connecting to the
charger or machine.
1. Open the battery compartment cover (5).
2. If applicable, remove the other battery (15).
2. lnsert battery (15).
3. Close the battery compartment cover (5).
Removing the battery from the device (Fig. C)
1. Open the battery compartment cover (5).
2. Remove the battery (15).
3. Close the battery compartment cover (5).
Charging the battery (Fig. B)
1. Take the battery (15) from the device.
2. Insert the USB-C plug (14) of the charger into
the USB-C charging socket (16) as shown in
figure D.
3. Plug the charger plug into an electrical outlet
and wait for a while. The LED indicator (13) on
the charger will lighten up and show the char-
ger status.

10 WWW.VONROC.COM
• Fully charging the 5000mAh battery (15) may
take up to 5 hours.
• After the battery (15) is fully charged remove
the USB-C plug (14) of the charger from the
charging socket.
Using the magnetic bracket (Fig. A,E)
This bracket (7) allows the unit to be mounted to
any upright surface made of steel or iron by using
the magnets (20) at the back. The bracket also has
a hanging hole (8) allowing the unit to be hung
from a nail or screw on any suitable surface.
To fit the line laser to the mounting, proceed as
follows:
1. Screw the bracket male thread (19) into the
tripod connection (17) at the device with the
help of the wheel (10).
2. Use the height adjuster (9) to adjust the line
laser to the required height.
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
Using the tripod (not included) (Fig. E)
1. Place the device with tripod connection (17,
18) on the thread of the tripod or a conventional
camera tripod.
2. Roughly align the tripod before switching on the
device.
4. OPERATION
Only the centre of the laser line must be
used for marking. The width of the laser line
changes depending on the distance.
It’s recommended to carry out an accuracy
check before first use and periodic checks
during future use, especially for precise
layouts. Also when the laser may have been
dropped.
Danger of injury due to defective compo-
nents! The product must only be put into
operation if no defects are found. Ensure
that any defective parts are replaced before
the product is used again.
WARNING! Risk of injury due to laser beam!
Never direct the laser beam towards people,
other living creatures or reflecting surfaces.
Check the device:
• Make sure all parts are fitted on the machine
firmly.
• Check whether there are any visible defects:
broken parts, cracks, etc.
• Check the accuracy when it is the first time you
are using the laser or when the laser has not
been checked for accuracy in a while.
• Also check the accuracy when the laser may
have been dropped.
Self- levelling mode (Fig. A, B, F)
The lasers are aligned automatically by the pen-
dulum so that the vertical and horizontal lines are
displayed level on the wall.
1. Place the laser on a flat surface or fit it to the
magnetic bracket (7) or tripod (not included)
and fasten it as described above.
2. Slide the lock switch (3) to the right to switch
the device on.
- LL503DC and LL504DC have two 360° lines
as show in figure F1. One horizontal line
and one front vertical line. Each laser line is
powered on by pressing its ON/OFF button
(1,2) on the keypad or remote control (11).
The laser lines can be powered one at a time
or all at the same time.
- LL505DC and LL506DC have three 360° lines
as show in figure F2. One horizontal line,
one front vertical line and one side vertical
line. The horizontal laser line is powered on
by pressing its ON/OFF button (1) on the
keypad or remote control. The vertical front
laser line is powered on by pressing its ON/
OFF button (2) on the keypad or remote
control. Pressing two times the ON/OFF but-
ton(2) for the vertical side laser and three
times for both vertical lasers. The laser lines
can be powered one at a time or all at the
same time.
3. When the laser beam flashes and the device
starts to beep, the permissible inclination range
of 4 degrees is exceeded. Position the device
horizontally.
4. Pressing the ON/OFF buttons (1, 2) again turns
the laser lines off.
5. To switch off, slide the lock switch (3) to the
left. The lasers switches off and the pendulum
will be locked.
