IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or temperature control in water or any
other liquid.
4. To avoid possible accidental injury, close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking o parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has malfunctioned or has
been dropped or damaged in any way or is not operating properly. Return the appliance to the nearest All-Clad
Repair Center for examination, repair or mechanical or electrical adjustment.
7. e use of accessory attachments not recommended by All-Cald may cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
12. Always attach plug to appliance rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to
“o”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
14. e skillet is not intended for deep frying.
15. When oil is heated to high temperature in any vessel, ammable gases are created. Do not expose a ame to
these gases as it could be dangerous. Never put the lid on the skillet when heating oil.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
• A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be used to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in
their use.
• If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- e marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance;
- e cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over unintentionally;
- If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
DISPOSING OF YOUR APPLIANCE
Your appliance contains many materials which can be recycled.
Take it to a local civic collection point.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Carefully unpack the skillet.
• Rinse both the skillet base and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
Note: e glass lid is immersible and top-shelf dishwasher safe.
Make sure temperature control probe is removed before cleaning.
GENERAL USAGE
1. Place your Electric Skillet on a clean, dry surface.
2. Make sure the temperature control dial is facing upward and is on the OFF position. Insert the probe into the
receptacle located on the side of the unit.
3. Plug cord into an electrical outlet.
4. Turn temperature control dial to desired setting (see recommendation for temperature settings in the chart on
page 9). e indicator light will go on.
5. Your Electric Skillet will preheat for approximately 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the desired temperature
setting. For faster heat-up, you can place the glass lid on top of the skillet.
6. Once the indicator light goes o, you are ready to cook.
7. Place food in the skillet.
Note: After preheating, do not leave the skillet on without any food inside. Over time, this can damage the pan.
Note: e indicator light will icker between on and o while cooking, as the heater cycles throught to maintain
a consistant temperature.
8. Cook food as directed or until desired results are achieved.
9. After use, turn the temperature control dial to the OFF position and unplug your skillet. Wait for your appliance
to completely cool down before cleaning it.

RECOMMENDED HEAT CONTROL PROBE SETTINGS
e temperature probe provides a dual read-out. Set your desired temperature using the specic numerical dial
settings, or the temperature ranges. If you typically use a medium heat on the stove, you should select one of the
medium heat settings on the electric skillet

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: To prevent personal injury or electric shock, always remove the temperature control probe before
immersing your skillet in water. Do not immerse the probe, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
1. Turn the temperature control dial to the OFF position and unplug unit from the outlet.
2. Allow unit to cool down before cleaning.
3. Once unit has cooled down, remove the temperature control probe from the appliance.
4. e temperature control probe is not immersible. Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth.
5. To clean the skillet, remove the probe and wipe o any excess food and oil from the skillet with a damp cloth.
Washskillet and glass lid with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive cloth or simply place it in the dishwasher.
6. Dry thoroughly when cleaned.
IMPORTANT: TAKING CARE OF YOUR NONSTICK COATING TO PREVENT SCRATCHING
ON THE NON-STICK SURFACE OF THIS PRODUCT, DO NOT USE METAL UTENSILS.
