Abuilt‐incarbonfilterprotectsyourwinebyactingasanaturalbarrieragainstharmfulodors.
InternalFan
Thisisanair‐cooledunitequippedwithaninternalfanthatmaintainsaconsistentinternaltemperature.
InstallingYourWineRefrigerator
Thewinerefrigeratorshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithlocalelectricalcoderequirements.Itshould
alsobeplacedinalocationthatisstrongenoughtosupportitstotalweight,keepinginmindthatitwill
weighsubstantiallymorewhenfullyloadedthanwhenempty.
Beforeyouplugthewinerefrigeratorintoapowersupply,besuretoletitstanduprightforatleast24
hourstoallowthecompressor’soilstosettle.
Note:Thecarbonfiltershouldbereplacedevery3‐6monthsdependingontheunit’sexposurelevelto
odor.Iftheunitisplacedinakitchen,regularreplacementeverythree(3)monthsisideal.
Tip:Gatherthemodelandserialnumberfromtheproductlabelandwritethemdownbeforeinstallingthe
winecooler.
Warning:Usetwoormorepeopletomoveandinstallthewinerefrigerator.Failuretodosocanresultin
backorotherinjury.Carefullyremovethepackagingmaterials.Removeanyshippingtapeandgluefrom
yourwinerefrigeratorbeforeusing.Donotusesharpinstruments,rubbingalcohol,flammablefluids,or

TYPESOFINSTALLATION:
Thiswinerefrigeratorhasbeendesignedforfree‐standingorbuilt‐ininstallation.Ineverycase,theremust
beadequateventilationandaccessforservice.
Free‐standingInstallation
Afree‐standinginstallationwillallowyoutoinstallthewinerefrigeratorinalmostanyplaceyoudesire.
Youmustfollowthestatedinstructionsforelectricalrequirementsandlevelingthewinerefrigerator.
Built‐inInstallation
Arecessedinstallationwillallowyoutoinstallthewinecoolerunderacounterorinakitchencabinet
providedtheclearancespacerequirementsaroundthewinecoolerarefollowed.Itisnecessarytoallow
adequateventilationspacearoundtheunit(makesurethereisatleastsomeventilationroomforthe
backoftheunit).Thefollowingadditionalitemsmustbeobserved:
1. Placethewinerefrigeratorinfrontoftheinstallationlocation.
2. Adjustthefeetandplacetheunitflatonthefloororonaplatformdependingonyourinstallation
requirements.
3. Iftheelectricaloutletforthewinerefrigeratorisbehindthecabinet,pluginthewinerefrigerator.
4. Pushthewinerefrigeratorintoposition.

InstallationClearanceRequirements:
Wheninstallingthewinerefrigeratorunderacounter,followtherecommendedspacingdimensionsshown.
• Toensureproperserviceaccessandventilation,allowbetween2‐3inchesofclearanceatthebackasshownin
thediagram.
• Theinstallationshouldallowtheunittobepulledforwardforservicing,ifnecessary.
• Astandardelectricalsupply(115VAConly,60Hz),properlygroundedinaccordancewithNationalElectricalCode
andlocalcodesandordinances,isrequired.
Warning:DONOTinstallthewinerefrigeratorbehindaclosedcabinetdoor.
Important:Onceyouarereadytoinstalltheunitinacabinetordirectlyonthefloor,youmustadjustthe
feettolevelthewinerefrigerator.

LEVELING:
Thewinerefrigeratorshouldbeinstalledonafirmandlevelsurfacethatwillbeabletosupporttheentire
weightofafullyloadedunit.Itisimportantforthewinerefrigeratortobeleveledinordertoworkproperly.
Itcanberaisedorloweredbyrotatingtheplasticsheathsaroundeachofthefeetonthebottomofthe
machine.Ifyoufindthatthesurfaceisnotlevel,rotatethefeetuntilthewinerefrigeratorbecomeslevel.
Youmayneedtomakeseveraladjustmentstolevelit.Werecommendusingacarpenter’sleveltocheckthe
machine.Turnthelevelingfeettotherighttolowerthatsideoftherefrigerator.Turnthelevelingfeetto
thelefttoraisethatsideoftherefrigerator.
RECOMMENDEDGROUNDINGMETHOD:
Foryourpersonalsafety,thisappliancemustbegrounded.Itisequippedwithapowersupplycordhavinga
3‐pronggroundingplug.Tominimizepossibleshockhazard,thecordmustbepluggedintoamating3‐
prongedwallsocket,andgroundedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCodeandlocalcodesand
ordinances.Ifamatingwallsocketisnotavailable,itisthepersonalresponsibilityofthecustomertohavea
properlygrounded,3‐prongwallreceptacleinstalledbyaqualifiedelectrician.
Beforeyoumoveyourwinerefrigeratorintoitsfinallocation,itisimportanttomakesureyouhavethe
properelectricalconnection.Astandardelectricalsupply(115V,60Hz),properlygroundedinaccordance
withtheNationalElectricalCodeandlocalcodesandordinances,isrequired.Itisrecommendedthata
separatecircuit,servingonlyyourwinerefrigerator,beprovided.Usereceptaclesthatcannotbeturnedoff
byaswitchorpullchain.
Thefuse(orcircuitbreaker)sizeshouldbe15Amps.
InstallingYourDoorHandleandShelves
INSTALLINGTHEDOORHANDLE:
1. Openthedoorandcarefullypullthedoorgasketaroundtheareawherethehandleistobeinstalled.
2. InserteachPhillipsheadscrewthroughthegasketsideofthedooruntilthescrewpassesthroughthe
door.
3. AlignthehandlewiththescrewsandtightenusingaPhillipsheadscrewdriveruntilthehandleisflush
againstthedoorframe.
Caution:Donotover‐tightenthescrewsasthismaycausedamagetothehandleortothestainlesssteel
door.
4. Carefullypressthedoorgasketintoitsoriginalposition.
ElectricalShockHazard!
Plugintoagrounded3‐prongoutlet.
Neverremovethegroundingprongfromtheplug.
Neveruseanadaptertobypassthegroundingprong.
DONOTuseanextensioncord.
Failuretofollowtheseinstructionscanresultinfire,electricalshock,orpersonalinjury.
