弊社、MHFA13CONN.の取り扱いに際して、本コネクタを安全に御使用頂くことを目的とし

コネクタの挿入・抜去の手順及び注意点を記述致します。

This manual is to explain the insertion & with drawal methods and important points in handling of MHF-A13 connector PLUG with cable for the purpose

of proper use.

【抜去 JIG について】【Pull JIG】

抜去を行う際、ケ－ブルコネクタ首部へのストレスを避ける為、下図形状の様な JIG（1例）を御使用下さい。

ケ－ブル側コネクタには JIG 専用の引っかけ形状が設置されています。

To avoid excessive stress to cable connection points, it is recommended to use special jig as show in Fig.1

The cable connector has a design feature to hook this “pull jig”.(see Fig.2)

【コネクタ挿入手順】【CONNECTOR INSERTION MANUAL】

1.ケーブル側コネクタの保持方法（How to hold a cable connector）

Fig3 のようにケーブル側コネクタのケーブルを持ちます。

Hold the both ends of cable connector as show in Fig.3.

2.ケーブル側コネクタのセット方法（Which direction to mate）

Fig.4 のように、基板側コネクタとケーブル側コネクタをセットします。セットしたら前後に軽く動かし、

動かないことを確認します。

Set connectors of the board side and of the cable side as shown in Fig.4. Please check they are set firmly

by moving back and forth slightly.

3.嵌合方法(How to mate)

Fig.5 のように、ケーブル側コネクタのセンターを真上から押し、カチッという音がすると、嵌合完了となります。

Push cable connector at it’s center location vertically as show in Fig.5.When click sound can be heard

“the connector mating action is complete”.

注意事項 CAUTION

・必ずケーブル側コネクタが基板と平行になるようにセットしてください。Fig.7 のように曲がったまま嵌合すると

コネクタの破損の原因となります。

・Please make sure to set the cable side connector parallel to the board. If you mate in not parallel condition as shown in Fig.7, connector will

be damaged.

【コネクタ抜去手順】 (How to with draw cable connector.)

①ケ－ブルの反対側から冶具を基板と平行にスライドさせてコネクタへセットします。

Slide the “pull jig” from the opposite side of a cable and attach to the cable connector.(see Fig.8-a)

②ストッパーに当たるまで冶具をスライドさせプラグコネクタ全体を抱えるようにします。

The jig must be moved until it reach a stopper just as it hold the cable connector .(see Fig.8-b)

③基板と垂直に冶具を引き上げ、コネクタを抜去します。

Lift up the jig vertically to the PCB surface.(see Fig.8-c)

注意事項 CAUTION

・ケーブルを引っ張りコネクタの抜去を行わないでください。

・冶具は必ず基板と垂直に引き上げてください。

・手で抜去する場合は、治具と同様に両端の引っかけ形状を基板と垂直に引き上げて下さい。

・Do not unmate a cable connector by pulling cable.

・”Pull jig” must be lifted up vertically to PCB surface.

・In case you withdraw the cable connector by hand, You must lift it up vertically by holding the hook area which is located at both connector ends.

【周辺部品配置の注意/ Precautions for placing peripheral components】

弊社検査用 SMA アダプタ(P/N 90539-001)を使用する場合、リセプタクルコネクタ周辺の部品配置は、

Fig.9 の寸法を参考に部品を配置するようお願いいたします。

When using inspection SMA adapter (P/N 90539-001), peripheral components of a receptacle connector shall be

placed according to the dimensions in Fig.9.

注意事項 CAUTION

リセプタクルコネクタを中心にφ4.8 以内に部品を配置しないようお願いします。

検査時に周辺部品が検査用アダプタに干渉すると、部品の破損の原因となります。

Components shall not be placed within φ4.8mm of a receptacle connector.

Interference of the components and inspection adapter may cause a breakage and inspection failure.

【コネクタ取り扱いの注意】(CAUTION IN CABLE CONNECTOR HANDLING)

・Fig.10 のように、矢印方向に常に力が加わるようなケーブルの引き回しを行うと、嵌合外れやコネクタの破損等

の恐れがありますので、ご注意願います。

・In the case of figure 10,it has possibility to damage to the housing and come off from rece. connector.

Especially when operator give continuous force to the direction(black allow),the tendency become higher.

So please take care of handling of harness.

【リール取り扱いの注意】(CAUTION IN REEL HANDLING)

Fig.11 のように、過度な力が加わるようにリールを掴むと、コネクタの変形や破損等

の恐れがありますので、ご注意願います。

In the case of Fig.11, it has possibility to deform and damage to the connector,

when operator give too much force.

So please take care of handling of reel.
