MAIN PARTS
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
■
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first
time.
■
Before you connect the kettle to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage
indicated on the rating plate, located on the bottom of the jug kettle matches the
mains voltage in your home. If it does not, contact your dealer and do not use the
kettle.
■
The kettle will switch to the warm keeping function automatically when the water
has boiled. You may switch the kettle off before the boiling process if complete by
using the on/off switch.
■
Do not touch the hot surfaces, Please use the handles.
■
To connect, always plug the cord into the wall outlet first then switch on. To
disconnect, pull switch to “OFF” then remove plug from wall outlet.
■
If the kettle ever boils dry, allow 15 minutes to cool before refilling with cold water.
The safety cutout will automatically reset during this time.
■
Place the kettle on a stable flat surface.
■
Ensure that the main switch of the kettle is switched off before removing it from its
stand.
■
Never immerse the kettle the power stand and cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of this kettle.
■
Prevent children from pulling on the mains cord or knocking the kettle over.
■
Ensure that the mains lead does not overhang the worktop surface.
■
Before cleaning the kettle disconnect from the power supply and wait until it was
cooled down.
■
Only use the cord supplied with this kettle. If a replacement is required, only
approved components may be used.
■
The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, please take care when
using the kettle.
■
Never fill in water more than the maximum acceptable water level.
■
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
■
If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
■
Keep electrical appliance out of reach from Children or infirm persons. Do not let
them use the appliance without supervision.
■
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
■
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
■
This appliance is intended to be used in household.
■
WARNING: Please do not open the cover. wait a few seconds to let the hot vapour
to escape, otherwise scalding may occur.
Before first use
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the
instructions below, this will remove any dust or residues remaining from the
manufacturing process.
Boiling Water
■
Take up the kettle from the base before filling.
■
Remove the cover and fill the kettle with as much fresh, cold water as you desired,
then close the cover. The water capacity must between the Max and Min level
showed on the kettle.
■
Place the kettle on the Power Base, connect the kettle to the power supply, turn
the Main Power Switch and the Boiling / Warm Keeping Control Switch to “I”
position, the heating lamp on the kettle body lights up and the water will start
heating. Once the water is boiling, the Boiling / Warm Keeping Control Switch will be
automatically switched to the “0” position. It will decrease the heating power to keep
the water boiling at the minimum level and to provide the energy saving. Meanwhile,
the Heating lamp will turn out and the Warm Keeping lamp will turn on.
■
Your kettle switches to the warm keeping “0” position after boiling the water for a
while .If the kettle is left open in this manner when work is being done, your boiled
water will be always ready .
■
Because heating is at minimum when it is waiting in the boiling position, the
present water can wait ready for a long period of time before getting evaporated.
■
The boiling / Warm keeping switch is taken to the “I” position again for ensuring
boiling in a short period when the water is added.
Infusing Tea
Add some tea leaf into the basket, put it into the Tea Pot. After the water is boiling,
pour the boiling water into the Tea Pot then put it on the kettle. You must leave some
water in the kettle to keep warm the Tea Pot.
Pour out tea and serve
When the tea is infused, remove the basket, pour out tea and serve.
Cleaning
■
First read the instructions in the section titled “Importance”.
■
Always disconnect the kettle from electrical outlet before cleaning.
■
Before cleaning make sure the kettle and the Tea Pot is cold enough.
■
Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a clean, damp cloth to preserve its
original highly polished finish. Dry and polish with a soft cloth.
■
Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind inside or on the
exterior of the kettle.
■
Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or other liquid, and make sure
the electrical kettle socket is kept dry.
Descaling
■
Half fill the kettle with tap water and add the juice of 1 lemon to the water.
■
Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow
it to stand a further 15 minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the kettle
well.

Elektrikli cihazları kullanacağınız zaman, temel emniyet kurallarına, aşağıdakiler
dahil olmak üzere daima uyulmalıdır:

Cihazı ilk defa kullanmadan önce bütün talimatları okuyunuz.
■
Su ısıtıcının fişini prize takmadan önce su ısıtıcının üzerindeki etikette belirtilen
voltajla evinizdeki voltajın aynı olduğundan emin olunuz.
■
Su kaynadığı zaman su ısıtıcı otomatik olarak sıcak tutma konumuna geçecekir.
Su ısıtıcıyı kendinizde kaynama işlemi tamamlanmadan çalıştırma düğmesinden
kapatabilirsiniz.
■
Sıcak yüzeylere dokunmayınız. Tutacak kullanınız.
■
Cihazı çalıştırmak için daima önce fişini prize takınız sonra düğmesinden açınız.
Cihazı kapatmak için, önce düğmeyi OFF konumuna getiriniz sonra fişini prizden
çekiniz.
■
Su ısıtıcı otomatik olarak veya elle kapatıldıktan sonra soğuması için biraz
zamana ihtiyacı vardır. 15 – 20 saniye sonra su ısıtıcı tekrar çalıştırılabilir.
■
Eğer su ısıtıcı kuru kaynarsa, tekrar soğuk su doldurmadan önce 15 dakika
soğuması için bekleyiniz. Bu süre içinde emniyet kesici otomatik olarak tekrar
devreye girecektir.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı sabit düz bir yüzeyin üzerine yerleştiriniz.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı güç tabanından ayırmadan önce kapattığınızdan emin olunuz.
■
Yangına, elektrik çarpmasına ve kişilerin yaralanmasına karşı korunmak için
kabloyu, fişi veya güç tabanını asla suya veya başka bir sıvının içine sokmayınız.
Su ısıtıcının elektrikli parçalarının suya temas etmesine izin vermeyiniz.
■
Çocukların su ısıtıcının kablosunu çekmelerine veya su ısıtıcıyı yere vurmalarına
izin vermeyiniz.
■
Güç kablosunun masa veya tezgah kenarlarından sarkmasına ve sıcak
yüzeylere temas etmesine izin vermeyiniz.
■
Cihazı kullanmadığınız zaman veya temizlemeden önce fişini prizden çekiniz.
Parçalarını söküp takmadan ve temizlemeden önce soğumasına izin veriniz.
■
Su ısıtıcının dış yüzeyi kullanım esnasında ısınabilir, su ısıtıcıyı kullanırken
dikkatli olunuz.
■
Su seviyesinin maksimum seviyeyi geçmediğinden emin olarak su doldurunuz.
■
Eğer ana kablosu hasar görmüşse, en yakın yetkili KING servisince yenisi ile
değiştirilmelidir.
■
Eğer su ısıtıcı aşırı doldurulursa, kaynayan su dışarı taşabilir.
■
Elektrikli cihazları çocukların veya yetersiz kişilerin ulaşabileceği yerlerden uzak
tutunuz. Yakın gözetim olmadan kullanmalarına izin vermeyiniz.
■
Bu cihaz fiziksel ve zihinsel kapasitesi düşük (çocuklar dahil) veya deneyim ve
bilgiden yoksun kişilerin, güvenliklerinden sorumlu kişilerin yakın gözetimi
olmaksızın veya cihazın kullanımına dair bilgi verilmeden, kullanmalarına izin
verilmemelidir.

Çocukların cihazla oynamadıklarından emin olmak için yakın gözetim
gerekmektedir.
■
Ev dışında kullanmayınız.
■
Cihazı sıcak gazlı veya elektrikli ısıtıcıların üzerine veya yanına veya ısıtılmış bir
fırının içine yerleştirmeyiniz.

Cihazı amacı dışında başka bir şey yapmak için kullanmayınız.

Demlikli Çay Makinesi sadece beraberinde satıcı tarafından verilmiş olan güç
tabanı ile kullanılabilir.

İlk kullanımdan önce
İlk kullanımdan önce, Demlikli Çay Makinenizi aşağıdaki talimatları takip ederek
2-3 defa çalıştırmanız tavsiye edilir. Bu, imalat sırasında kalan tozları ve atıkları
çıkartacaktır.
Su kaynatma
■
Su ısıtıcıya su doldurmadan önce güç tabanının üzerinden alınız.
■
Kapağı açınız ve su ısıtıcıyı iyi su ile istediğiniz kadar doldurunuz ve kapağı
kapatınız. Su kapasitesi su ısıtıcının üzerinde gösterilen Max ve Min seviye
aralığında olmalıdır.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı güç tabanının üzerine yerleştiriniz, fişini prize takınız, ana çalıştırma
düğmesini ve Kaynama/Sıcak tutma kontrol düğmesini “I” konumuna getiriniz, su
ısıtıcının gövdesi üzerindeki güç gösterge lambası yanacaktır ve su kaynamaya
başlayacaktır. Su kaynadıktan sonra kaynama/sıcak tutma kontrol düğmesi
otomatik olarak “0” konumuna gelecektir. Kaynayan suyun ısısını minimum
seviyede tutmak ve enerjiden tasarruf etmek için ısıtma gücünü düşürecektir. Bu
sırada, güç gösterge lambası sönecektir ve Kaynama/Sıcak tutma kontrol düğmesi
yanacaktır.
■
Su ısıtıcınız suyu bir süre kaynattıktan sonra kaynama/sıcak tutma kontrol
düğmesini “0” konumuna getirecektir. Eğer su ısıtıcı bu durumda işlem yapıldığı
zaman açık bırakılırsa kaynar suyunuz daima hazır olur.
■
Kaynama konumunda beklediği zaman ısı minimum seviyede olacağı için, mevcut
olan su buharlaşmadan önce uzun bir süre hazır olarak bekleyecektir.
■
Kaynama/Sıcak tutma kontrol düğmesi su ilave edildiği zaman “I” konumuna
alınarak kısa bir süre kaynatma yaptığınızdan emin olunuz.
Çay demleme
■
Sepetin içine bir miktar çay koyunuz, sepeti demliğin içine yerleştiriniz. Su
kaynadıktan sonra, kaynayan suyu demliğin içine dökünüz. Su ısıtıcısının suyu
yetersiz ise takviye yapıp standın üzerine yerleştirip ana çalıştırma düğmesini açıp
kaynama kontrol düğmesini “Su kaynatma” konumuna getiriniz.
Temizlik
Dikkat: Cihazı temizlemeden önce daima fişini prizden çekiniz.
■
Temizlemeden önce su ısıtıcının ve demliğin yeteri kadar soğuk olduğundan emin
olunuz.
■
Su ısıtıcının dış yüzeyini cilalı kaplamasını korumak için temiz, nemli bir bezle
siliniz. Yumuşak bir bezle kurutunuz ve parlatınız.
■
Su ısıtıcının iç ve dış yüzeyini aşındırıcı temizlik maddeleri ile temizlemeyiniz.
■
Su ısıtıcıyı veya güç tabanını suya veya başka bir sıvının içine sokmayınız ve su
ısıtıcının fişinin kuru olduğundan emin olunuz.
Kireçten Arındırma
■
Su ısıtıcıyı yarıya kadar musluk suyu ile doldurunuz ve suya 1 limon suyu ilave
ediniz.
■
Bu karışımı kaynatınız ve 15 dakika içinde bırakınız. Aynı karışımı tekrar
karıştırınız ve bir 15 dakika daha kalmasına izin veriniz. Bu karışımı 3.kez
kaynatınızve sonra su ısıtıcıyı iyice durulayınız.
