Likealmostanyelectroniccircuit,Pantelligentwillnotoperateproperlyiftheelectronicsgetwet!
Thehandleisdesignedwithwaterproofsealstokeeptheelectronicsandbatterycompartment
dry,evenwhenPantelligentisusedfornormalcookingandcleaning.However,ifmoisture
managestocomeincontactwiththesensitiveelectronicsinsidethehandle,itwilltemporarily
preventtheproperoperationofthePantelligentelectronics.Wehavetakenspecialcareto
designPantelligentsuchthatalthoughmoisturemaycausetemporarylossoffunctionality,no
permanentdamageshouldresultifthefollowingprocedureisfollowedtoremovemoisture.
Ifthebatteriesarefine,butthelightstilldoesn’tblinkinthe“ArethePantelligentelectronics
receivingpower?”test,youmaywishtotrytheprocedurebelowtoremovemoisture.Inmost
cases,thiswillreturnyourpantonormalworkingoperation.
MoistureBakeOutProcedure:
A. Removethebatterycap.
B. Removethebatteries.

C. Preheatyourovento250°F.

preheatiscompleted!Mostovens
significantlyovershoottheset
temperaturewhilepreheating.
D. Bakethepanintheovenat250°Ffor15

Highertemperaturesdonotcauseanyfaster
moistureevaporation,andcancausepermanentdamage.
E. Useanovenmitttoremovethepanandplaceitonthestovetoptocoolforatleast15
minutes.

thetouch!Theelectronicscantoleratehightemperaturesonlywhenoff.
F. Putthebatteriesinthecorrectorientation,andrepeatthe“ArethePantelligent
electronicsreceivingpower?”test,lookingfortheredlight.Iftheredlightblinks,
reassemblewiththebatterycapandscrews.Yourpanisworkingproperlyagain!
