WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children less than 8 years.
The connector must be removed before the
appliance is cleaned.
The appliance inlet must be dried before the
appliance is used again.
Only the appropriate connector must be used.
The appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning
surfaces in contact with food, refer to the
section “Cleaning and Maintenance” on page 4
of the manual.
The outer surface may get hot when the
appliance is operating.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during
use.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may
be high when the appliance is operating.
Do not touch hot surface. Use the handle
while moving the product.
Do not place the appliance in or near hot gas

or electric burner, or permit to touch a heated
oven or mini oven.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the appliance and keep them for future reference.
Always plug the temperature regulator into the appliance first, and then plug the power cord into mains
socket.
Always turn the temperature regulator to “0” and then disconnect the plug from the mains socket when
not in use and before cleaning. Always let the appliance cool down before cleaning it.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
The appliance shall only be used on a firm, level, dry and non-flammable surface.
Maintain a distance of at least 30 cm from other objects to ensure sufficient ventilation.
Do not move the appliance when it is in use and do not touch the teppanyaki plate.
Use oven gloves when cooking food at a high temperature. Splashed fat may otherwise cause burns.
Allow fat in the drip tray to cool before removing it.
Never use the appliance near curtains and other flammable materials.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Remove all packaging materials and clean the appliance before using it for the first time (See the chapter
“Cleaning and Maintenance”).

Before using the appliance for the first time, heat it up without any food so that any
residues can evaporate. Make sure the room is adequately ventilated.
OPERATION
1. Turn the temperature regulator to “0”.
2. Plug the temperature regulator into the connection socket.
3. Slide the drip tray into position.
4. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket.
5. Turn the temperature regulator to the desired temperature.
The indicator light on the temperature regulator will illuminate and the appliance will heat up.
“1” to “4”: low and medium temperatures for cooking fish fillets, vegetables and other grilled food.
Note: It is recommended that when cooking vegetables, the plate can be lightly oiled.
“5”: maximum temperature for thin slices of meat or poultry.
6. When the selected temperature has been reached, the indicator light will go out.
Warning! Danger of burns: the grill pate gets very hot, do not touch!
7. Put the food to be cooked onto the teppanyaki plate.
8. After a time, turn the food with a wooden spatula (not supplied).
9. When the food is cooked, remove it from the teppanyaki plate with the wooden spatula.
10. To switch off the appliance, turn the temperature regulator to “0” when you have finished
cooking. Pull out the mains plug from the mains socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the temperature regulator from the appliance and then the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.
Do not immerse the appliance and temperature regulator in water or any other liquid.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Clean the temperature regulator with a slightly damp cloth.
Carefully remove the drip tray and dispose of the collected fat.
NOTE: Do not pour the fat down the drain, as it may solidify and cause blockages.
Clean the drip tray in hot, soapy water.
Remove excess oil from the teppanyaki plate with a piece of kitchen paper and then clean it using a damp
cloth or sponge with a little mild detergent in order to help remove fatty deposits.
Caution! Never use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents, as they could damage the appliance and the nonstick
coating of the grill plate.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from different types
of food, the use of hot clean water with a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come
into contact with food.
Correct food hygiene practises should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning
/cross contamination.
Use the appliance only again if the temperature regulator and connection socket are completely dry after
cleaning.

Le socle de connecteur doit être séché
avant d'utiliser à nouveau l'appareil.
Seule la prise mobile de connecteur
appropriée doit être utilisée.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être mis
en fonctionnement au moyen d'une
minuterie extérieure ou par un système de
commande à distance séparé.
