1. Makesurethatyoursystemisunpoweredand

unpluggedandyouaregrounded.

2. Removethecoverofyoursystem(refertocomputer

systemdocumentation,ifnecessary)sothatthePCI

Expressexpansionslotopeningsonthemotherboard

areaccessible.

3. AlignthePCIExpressconnectorontherisercard

withanavailablePCIExpressslot.

4. Gentlyinsertthecardintotheemptyslot,making

sureitisseatedrmly.Fastenthecardtotheriser

cardmountingbracketonthecomputerchassis(refer

tocomputersystemdocumentation,ifnecessary).

5. InstallthedesiredPCIExpresscardintothe

PCIeslotontherisercardandfastensecurelyto

thecomputerchassis(refertocomputersystem

documentation,ifnecessary).

6. Replaceandfastenthecomputercover.
