Operating instructions

Cleaning

The damper can be fully opened

for easy access to the inside of

the duct. Remember to write

down the setting for the damper

prior to opening. Set the

opening back to normal after

cleaning.

Loosen the screws for adjusting

the damper setting.

Connect the hoses to the

measuring connections

and measure the

pressure.

Lock the setting by

tightening the screws after

tuning.

Installation instructions

Install the iris damper in the duct.

Measure the pressure difference

P over the iris damper with a

manometer.

Loosen the screws on the

adjustment handle – adjust the

opening to achieve the desired

airflow.

Depending on the opening and the

pressure drop P the airflow can

be established with help of the

included k-factor diagram.

When the desired airflow has been

achieved – tighten the screws on

the ad

ustment handle.

Drift- och skötselråd

Rengöring

Spjället kan öppnas helt så att

man kommer åt att rensa inne i

kanalen. Notera först vilket läge

spjället står i. Kom ihåg att

återställa spjället efter rensning.

Lossa låsningsskruvarna vid

ändring av spjälläge.

Montageinstruktion

Installera irisspjället i kanalen.

Mät trycket P över irisspjället med

en differential tryckmätare.

Lossa på skruvarna på spjällåset -

justera öppningen på irisspjället

efter önskat flöde.

Läs av luftflödet på det

medföljande k-faktor diagrammet

där luftflödet ges beroende på

öppningens storlek samt

differenstrycket över irisspjället.

När önskat flöde uppnås – skruva

fast skruvarna efter justering.
