Packing list: Ring button « B-Ring » - Quick start guide
The B-Ring integrate a high performance processor combined with a Bluetooth
Low Energy module for high speed wireless scan button.
Operation mode:
a) Start the bluetooth and NFC on the Mobile computer.
b) Download and install from the Google Store the application named « ScanOne »
from ACTset. Or you can download the APK located here:

c) Start the app. « ScanOne »
d) Click on the « Start Pairing B-RING » button.
e) Put the B-Ring at approximately 10 cm from the terminal and press the button on
the B-Ring during 3 seconds.
f) The B-Ring is ready to use when you ear the beep of ther terminal.
Nota: You can also pair the the B-Ring in NFC by putting the back of the B-Ring to the
back of the terminal; you can also write the MAC address of the B-Ring (to discover it,
you can use for exemple « Bluetooth LE Tool » you can find on the Google store)
Battery: The B-Ring integrate a 2032 standard Lithium Battery easy to find everywhere.
After strong tests ACTset recommand the brand name Energizer.
In most of cases, his autonomous is approximately one year.
In case of prolonged inactivity, the B-Ring can be put into deep sleep.
To do so, you must press the button for more than 15 seconds. An identical action will
awaken the B-Ring again.
To change the battery, you can find a thin hole on the base of the button to insert a
screwdriver blade, then make a rotational movement to unclip the lid.
From now, you have access to the electronic and the battery. The + of the battery has to
be in contact with the electronic board. We are not responsible for any breakage,
damage or failure when dismantled, or if the battery is inserted in the wrong direction.
If you prefer, you can also contact your supplier to proceed with the battery exchange.
Improper battery replacement or incompatible device usage may result in risk of burns,
fire, explosion, or other hazard. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.

Le B-Ring integre un processeur de haute performance combiné avec un module
Bluetooth Low Energy pour obtenir un bouton de scan sans fils rapide.
Mise en service:
a) Démarrer le Bluetooth (et l’autorisation de géolocalisation) sur le terminal mobile.
b) Télécharger et installer à partir du Google store l’application nommée « ScanOne »
de ACTset. Ou, vous pouvez télécharger l’APK située ici:

c) Démarrer l’application « ScanOne »
d) Cliquer sur le bouton « Start Pairing B-RING » à l’écran du terminal.
e) Mettre le B-Ring à environ 10 cm du terminal et appuyer sur le bouton
du B-Ring durant 3 secondes.
f) Le B-Ring est prêt à être utilisé quand vous entendez un beep du terminal mobile.
Nota: Vous pouvez également coupler le B-Ring en NFC en plaçant l'arrière du B-Ring à
l'arrière du terminal., vous pouvez aussi écrire la MAC address du B-Ring (Ce numéro se
trouve sur la boite de la bague ou vous pouvez la découvrir par ex. via « Bluetooth LE Tool »
sur le Google store).
Batterie: La bague B-Ring intègre une pile bouton lithium 2032 standard facile à trouver
n’importe ou. Après de nombreux test, ACTset recommande la marque Energizer.
Dans la plupart des cas, son autonomie est d’environ un an.
En cas d’inactivité prolongée, il est possible de mettre la B-Ring en sommeil profond.
Pour se faire, il faut appuyer sur le bouton pendant plus de 15 secondes. Une action
identique éveillera à nouveau la bague B-Ring.
Pour changer la batterie, vous pouvez voir un petit trou à la base du bouton et y insérer un
tournevis plat, puis, faire une rotation pour dé-clipser le couvercle.
A partir de là, vous avez accès à la carte électronique et à la batterie. Le + de la batterie doit
être en contact avec la carte électronique. Nous ne sommes pas responsables d’une casse
ou panne éventuelle lors du démontage, ou si la batterie est insérée du mauvais coté.
Si vous préférez, contactez votre fournisseur pour procéder au changement de batterie.
Un remplacement inadequat de la batterie ou une utilisation incompatible de l’appareil peut
présenter des risques de brulure, d’incendie, d’explosion ou d’autres dangers.
Jeter les piles au lithium-ion conformement aux régulations locales.
