N.B. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.
DO NOT exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at risk.
CONT NTS
The conversion kit consists of the following items:
1. Pair of self-propelling wheels with locking/ quick release spindle
2. Pair of wheel support blocks in aluminium
. Pair of brake blocks
Check all parts of the conversion kit for damage before use to ensure that there is
no damage to the parts. If you suspect any damage, please do not use your product
but contact your supplier immediately for support.
CONV RSION PROC SS
1. Remove the back, padded seat, padded insert and (if applicable) footrests
from the main frame
2. Place the frame onto a clean surface at worktop height protected by a
blanket or similar non-abrasive material
. Turn the frame upside-down so that the wheels are facing upwards
4. Using a 22mm 7/8” spanner, release the stainless steel nuts holding the
rear castors in place. There is no need to plug the exposed tube as the
frame is manufactured from rust free aluminium
5. Remove the black studs to either side of the frame to expose the pre-
punched holes which will support the self-propelling wheel assembly
6. Carefully remove the nuts and bolts holding the wheel supports together
7. Take the pre-punched wheel assembly with male assembly and place this
onto the outside of the frame ensuring that the central support is securely
located in the pre-punched hole.
8. Attach the second part of the wheel support to the inside of the frame,
ensuring that the two parts lock back together
9. Replace the nylonic nuts in the wheel support and secure with the Allen
key (Unbrako key) provided
10. Repeat steps 6 to 9 for the opposite side of the frame
11. Check that both wheel supports are securely in place
12. Remove the right hand brake assembly from its bag (please note the
brakes are handed and are marked left and right on their bags)
1 . Remove the washers and bolts and align the assembly to the centre of the
locating slot
14. Replace both stainless steel washers and nuts 15.
15. Repeat steps 12 to 14 for the left hand brake assembly
16. Turn the frame onto its side

17. Align the spindle of one of the self-propelling wheels to the large locating
hole on the wheel support
18. Push the wheel into position and press the button on the outside of the
spindle until you hear a click
19. Check that the wheel in secured in position by trying to pull it away from
the frame. If the wheel remains in place it is correctly installed, however if
the wheel comes away from the frame, repeat steps 17 to 19 again until
the wheel is correctly installed.
20. Turn the frame over to the other side and repeat steps 17 to 19 for the
other self-propelling wheel
21. When both wheels are installed correctly turn the Bewl upright and place
on the floor
22. Check that both brakes are secure and stop the wheels from moving
before use
2 . Reinstall the back, padded seat, padded insert and (if applicable) footrests
to the main frame, your shower seat is now ready for use
CAR & MAINT NANC
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals (at least every 6
months) or on reissue, or if you have any concerns.
R ISSU
If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all
components for their safety.
This includes:
•PAT test for electrical items
•Tightness of all nuts/bolts/castors
•Other screw in/bolt in/push in components.
•Also check all upholstery for security, splits, etc.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier
for service support.
When reissuing, a risk assessment may be required as to the suitability of the chair
for a particular user.
