Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung
sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das
Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät benutzen.

Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte beachten Sie folgende Sicherheitshinweise um
Fehlfunktionen, Beschädigungen oder Verletzungen zu
vermeiden:
• Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitsbestimmungen der
Bohrmaschine, die Sie benutzen.
• Schalten Sie die Bohrmaschine jedes mal aus und ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie den Blindnietvorsatz an
oder abbauen oder wenn Sie die Bohrmaschine z.Zt.
nicht gebrauchen. Benutzen Sie ausschließlich das in
dieser Anleitung gezeigte Zubehör. Der Vorsatz ist nicht
für professionelle Anwendung gedacht.
• Sichern Sie das Werkstück ab.
• Tragen Sie keine lose Kleidung oder Schmuck bei der
Arbeit. Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Haare sich nicht in
beweglichen Teilen verfangen können.
• Personen mit Behinderungen sollten nicht oder nur unter
Aufsicht das Gerät benutzen.
• Benutzen Sie den Blindnietvorsatz nur mit beiliegenden
Aufnahmestücken.
• Bei Beschädigung stoppen Sie sofort die Arbeit und
lassen Sie das Gerät von einem Fachmann reparieren.
Unternehmen Sie keine Selbstreparaturversuche.
• Arbeiten Sie auf keinen Fall mit einem beschädigten oder
heruntergefallen Gerät weiter.

Wichtige Arbeitsschritte bei der
Inbetriebnahme:
1. Bohren Sie öcher in die zu nietenden
Werkstücke. Die Größe der öcher sollten
mit der Größe des Blindnietdorns überein-
stimmen.
2. Stecken Sie das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät
wie ein Bit in das Bohrfutter der Maschine.
3. Das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät mit einer Hand
festhalten und langsam den Linkslauf der
Maschine starten, bis ein ”Klicken” zu hören
ist. Die Backen der Aufnahmevorrichtung im
Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät sind jetzt geöffnet.
4. Wählen Sie das passende Aufnahmestück
für die ausgewählte Blindniete und schrau-
ben es mit dem beiliegenden Montage-
schlüssel am Kopf des Blindniet-Vorsatzge-
rätes fest. Schieben Sie jetzt die Blindniete
in das Mundstück.
5. Stellen Sie den Schrauber auf Rechts-
lauf. Überprüfen Sie, dass die Drehzahl
nicht zu hoch eingestellt ist.
6. Das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät fest auf das zu
vernietende Werkstück drücken und die Ma-
schine im Rechtslauf starten. Halten Sie die
Blindniet-Vorrichtung und den Schrauber mit
beiden Händen fest. Wenn die Blindniete
komplett eingezogen ist, schneidet die
Blindniet-Vorrichtung den Nietdorn automa-
tisch ab.
7. Den Schrauber jetzt auf Linkslauf stellen,
mit einer Hand festhalten und die Maschine
solange laufen lassen, bis der Nietdorn aus-
geworfen wird.

Fehlerbehebung bei einem eingeklemmten Nietdorn:
1. Das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät aus der Maschine nehmen.
2. Schrauben Sie das obere, schwarze Teil der Blindniet-Vorrichtung gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn komplett ab.
3. Den Sechskant-Aufnahmestift des Blindniet-Vorsatzgerätes mit der Hand
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis die Backenaufnahme der Blindniet-
vorrichtung ganz geöffnet ist.
4. Den eingeklemmten Nietdorn mit vorsichtigem Klopfen, oder einer Zange
aus den Nietdorn-Aufnahmebacken entfernen.

Vor der Reiningung bzw. Wartung das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät aus der Ma-
schine nehmen. Um die Oberfläche nicht zu beschädigen, keine scharfen
Reiniger oder agressive Chemikalien benutzen.

Entnehmen Sie alle Teile der Verpackung. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpa-
ckungsteile nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen, da sie spitz und
scharfkantig sein können.

Wechseln der Ersatz-Blindniet-
Aufnahmebacken nach einem
Verschleiß der Rillen:
1. Den Sicherungsring mit einer Sicherungs-
ring-Zange lösen
2. Das Aufnahmestuck und den Kopf des
Blindniet-Vorsatzgerätes abschrauben.
3. Das Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät mit einer Hand
festhalten und auf der anderen Seite das
komplette Innenteil herausziehen.
4. Mit einem Montageschlussel das Innenteil
fixieren und den Kopf des Blindniet-Vorsatz-
gerätes mit einem zweiten Montageschlus-
sel abschrauben.
5. Die Blindniet-Aufnahmebacken aus dem
Mundstuck herausnehmen und die neuen
Ersatz-Blindniet-Aufnahmebacken in das
Mundstuck einsetzen.
6. Ersatz-Blindniet-Aufnahmebacken.
Jetzt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge das
Blindniet-Vorsatzgerät wieder zusam-
menbauen.

Safety Note
Please note the following safety precautions to avoid mal-
functions, damage or injury:
• Observe all safety regulations of the drill that you use.
• Turn off the drill each time and disconnect the power cord
when you attach or detach the blind rivet attachment
deice or when you are not using the drill. Use only the
accessories shown in this manual. The attachment device
is not intended for professional use.
• Secure the work piece.
• Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry while working.
Make sure that your hair can not be caught in moving
parts.
• Persons with disabilities should not use this device or
only use this device under supervision.
• Only use the blind rivet attachment with the enclosed
reception device.
• If damaged, stop work immediately have the device
repaired by a professional. Do not attempt self-repairs.
• Do not continue work with a damaged device or a device
that has been dropped.

Important steps for operation:
1. Drill holes in the workpiece to be riveted.
The size of the holes should correspond
with the size of the blind rivets.
2. Insert the blind rivet attachment device
such as bit into the drill chuck.
3. Hold the blind rivet attachment device
firmly in one hand and slowly start the re-
verse rotation of the drill until you hear a
"click". The jaws of the receiving device in
the blind rivet attachment are now open.
4. Choose the appropriate reception piece
for the selected blind rivet and mount it with
the enclosed installation wrench on the head
of the blind rivet attachment device firmly.
Now push the rivet into the tip.
5. Turn to clockwise operation. Verify that
the speed is not set too high.
6. Place the blind rivet attachment device
firmly on the workpiece to riveted and start
the machine in clockwise operation. Hold
the blind rivet attachment device and the
drill firmly with both hands. When the blind
rivet is completely in, the blind rivet attach-
ment automatically cuts of the rivet.
7. Turn the drill to reverse, hold with one
hand and let the drill run so long until the
rivet top is thrown out.

Troubshooting - jammed rivet
1. Take the blind rivet attachment device off of the drill.
2. Screw the upper black part off of the blind rivet attachment device
completely off, counter-clockwise.
3. Turn the hexagonal shank of the blind rivet attachment device by hand,
counter clockwise, until the jaws of the blind rivet attachment device are
completely open.
4. Take out the jammed rivet by carefully tapping or using a pair of pliers to
remove the rivet from the jaws.
Care and storage:
Take the blind rivet attachment device off of the drill before cleaning or per-
formaing maintenance. In order not to damage the surface, do not use
harsh cleaners or aggressive chemicals.

Remove all parts from the packaging. Make sure that the packaging is kept
out of reach of children as these can be pointy and sharp edged.

Exchanging the replacement
blind rivet-gripper jaws when the
grooves are worn:
1. Release the locking ring with a pair of lo-
cking ring pliers.
2. Unscrew the mounting attachment and
the head of the blind rivet attachment.
3. Hold the blind rivet attachment with one
hand and pull the complete inner part out of
the other side.
4. Hold the inner part in position using a
mounting key and unscrew the head of the
blind rivet attachment using a second
mounting key.
5. Remove the blind rivet gripper jaws from
the mouthpiece and insert the new the blind
rivet gripper jaws into the mouthpiece.
6. Replacement blind rivet gripping jaws.
Now reassemble the blind rivet attach-
ment in the reverse order.
