Brake Service Tool Set (ATBX12) Instruction Manual

This product is an assembly / disassembly tools for Drum Brake.
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Includes
C Washer Tool (ABX-31)
Pliers that are used for removing C-Washer which is fixed on Brake Shoe.
This pliers can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class)
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
Usage Instructions
1. Pull and rotate the Claw. Wedge should be facing inward.
2. Align the caulking part of C-Washer with wedge of Claw.
Hold the grip, and expand the width of C-Washer.
3. Pull and rotate the Claw again. Planar part of Claw should be facing inward.
4. Attach the planer part of Claw with expanded C-Washer. Hold the grip, and force out the C-Washer.
Parking Shoe Lever Tool (ABX-32)
Pliers that are used for installing the Parking Brake Cable to Parking
Brake Shoe, and removing.
This pliers can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track
(2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
Pliers have sharp point. Use with Caution.
Usage Instructions
Removing Brake Cable
1. Insert Claw into both ends of Shoe Lever.
2. Hold the grip, and compress the spring.
Remove the Brake Cable from Shoe Lever.
Installing Brake Cable
1. Insert Claw between spring and Caulking part.
Insert the Claw all the way.
2. Hold the grip, and compress the spring.
Install the Brake Cable into Shoe Lever.
Shoe Hold Spring Tools (ABX-33, 34)
Screwdrivers that are used for installing / removing the Shoe Hold Spring of Drum Brake.
This pliers can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
ABX-33 (Shoe Hold Down Spring)
Use for Flat Spring Type
ABX-34 (Spring Cap)
Use for Coil Spring Type
Usage Instructions
1. Press Shoe Hold Spring Tools against the Shoe
Hold Down Spring / Spring Cap.
2. Rotate 90 degree and remove spring.
NOTE: Carry out installation in the reverse order
to removal.
Tension Spring Tool (ABX-35)
A Hooking Tool that is used for installing the Tension Spring of Drum Brake.
This tool can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
This Hooking Tool has sharp point. Use with Caution.
Usage Instructions
1. Insert and Hook the Tension Spring on Shoe’s Hole,
then set opposite side on Tension Spring Tool’s shaft.
2. Insert the Tip of Shoe into Shoe’s Hole, then extend the spring.
3. Slide and guide the Tension Spring to the Shoe’s Hole.
NOTE: In case it is difficult to insert the Tension Spring
into Shoe’s Hole, rotate the Tension Spring Tool.
Tension Spring Tool (AB-7)
T-Shaped Hooking Tool that is used for removing the Tension Spring of Drum Brake.
This tool can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
This Hooking Tool has sharp point. Use with Caution.
Usage Instructions
1. Hook the tip on Tension Spring.
2. Pull the Tension Spring and remove it from Shoe.
NOTE: To avoid any accident, make sure that tip hooks
Tension Spring firmly.
Hex Key Wrench & Hex Hole Bolt 8mm (HLD100-06)
L-Shaped Hex Key Wrench and Hex Hole Bolt 8mm (2pcs.) that are used for removing the Brake Drum.
This tool can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
Usage Instructions
1. Insert Hex Bolt on Drum.
2. Tighten the bolts by Hex Key Wrench.
NOTE: To prevent breakage of a Drum, make
sure to tighten Bolts Equally.
In case of overtighten, the Drum might
be broken.
Brake Shoe Adjustment Tools (ABX301, 302, 303)
Hooking Tools that are used for adjusting the brake (Clearance adjustment between Drum and Shoe).
This tool can be used for standard-sized automobile and small track (2 tons class).
Please use this product only for its intended use.
Do not use the tool if there is crack or deformation.
This Hooking Tool has sharp point. Use with Caution.
Any modifications are prohibited (sharpening, bending, etc.)
Usage Instructions
1. Take a Rubber Cap on Brake Shoe Adjust
Hole off, then insert Brake Shoe
Adjustment Tool.
Choose the Adjustment tool according to
the structure of Brake Drum.
2. Turn a Shoe Adjuster by the Adjustment
Tools.
3. Take an Adjustment tool off and recap a
Rubber Cap tightly after adjustment
completed.
Choose the Adjustment tool to suit
according to structure of Brake Drum.
