Gewindeschneide ist ausgelegt zum Aufreiben und Schneiden des Hülsen-Aufnahmegewindes.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Repair Kit for Spark Plug Threads

GENERAL INFORMATION

This repair kit serves to repair spark plug threads. The thread cutter included in the kit is designed for

reaming and cutting the sleeve receiving thread.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Use the drill by hand only. Using a machine can cause the drill to break / chip off and can lead to

damage of the workpiece and to injuries.

Make sure no swarf or other pollutants get into the combustion chamber or cylinder. Swarf and

pollution in the cylinder can lead to engine damage.

Grease the thread cutter prior to use so as to prevent swarf from falling into the combustion

chamber.

Always wear safety goggles during operation, especially on removing swarf with a blow-out gun.

Clean the thread cutter after each use.

APPLICATION

Grease the thread cutter.

Ream the old thread with the thread cutter and have a new thread

cut to receive the threaded sleeve.

Please note: Make sure no swarf falls into the combustion chamber.

Turn the threaded sleeve onto the spark plug.

Secure the sleeve with appropriate liquid retention, if required.

Use the spark plug to insert the threaded sleeve into the newly

manufactured thread.
