5. MEASURING PROCEDURE

• Facethephotodetectortolightsourceinahorizontalposition.
• ReadtheilluminancevaluefromtheLCDdisplay.
• Data-Holdmode:PresstheHOLDkeytoselectHoldmode.When
• HOLDmodeisselected,theilluminancemeterstopsallfurthermeasure-
ments.PresstheHOLDkeyagaintocancelHOLDmode.
• Thenitresumesnormaloperation.
• Whenthemeasurementiscompleted,turnthepoweroff.
Note:
If display indicates one or more leading zeros, user has toshift the Function
switchtothenextlowerrangescaletoimproveresolutionandaccuracy.
6. MAINTENANCE
6-1 General maintenance
• Tokeeptheinstrumentclean,wipethecasewithadryclothanddetergent,
donotuseabrasivesorsolvents.
• Thewhiteplasticdisconthetopofthedetectorshouldbecleanedwitha
dampclothwhennecessary.

• Anyadjustmentmaintenanceandrepairshallbebyaqualiedperson.
6-2 Battery Replacement
• When the battery voltage drop below proper operation range, the “ ”
symbolwillappearontheLCDdisplayandthebatteryneedstobereplaced.
• Slidethebatterycoverawayfromtheinstrumentandremovethebattery.
• Replacewith9Vbatteryandreinstallthecover.
