IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS (1/2)
1. Please read these operating instructions thoroughly before rst
operating the sandwich maker and keep them in a sate place.
2. If you pass this appliance on to a third party, these operating
instructions must also be handed over.
3. Incorrect operation and handling can lead to malfunction of the
appliance and injures to user.
4. This appliance is intended for household use only.
5. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the
current and power supply comply with the specications on the type
plate.
6. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not
in use and before cleaning.
7. Parts of the appliance become hot during use. Therefore, the
appliance must only be held by the handle.
8. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other
liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
BEFORE USE
Before use, please read this manual carefully.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical
appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
avoid res, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read
these operating and safety instructions carefully.

10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
11. Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
12. Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or plug show signs of
damage, if the appliance has fallen on the oor or has otherwise been
damaged. In such cases take the appliance to a specialist for checking
and repair if necessary.
13. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep
it away from hot objects and open ames.
14. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface and not dose to hot
objects or open ames (e. g. hotplates).
15. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
16. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
- Remove all packaging.
- Clean the toasting surfaces with a soft damp cloth and then dry them.
- Unwind the mains cable completely.
Note: The product may emit slight smoke or odor when heated the
rst time, which is normal for heating appliances and doesn’t impact its
safety.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the appliance to an appropriate socket.
2. The control lights illuminate and the toasting surfaces heat up.
3. The appliance must be heated up before grilling. In the meantime
prepare your food.
4. When the sandwich maker is ready after a couple of minutes the
ready-to use light will illuminate.
5. You can now begin grilling .
6. Open the appliance at the catch.
7. Close the appliance, making sure that catch is engaged.
8. Caution: If the foods have too much lling on, it will not be possible
to close the appliance. Take some of the lling off. Never use force to
close the appliance.
9. During toasting the temperature regulating thermostat switches off
and on again. The control light also switches off and on again.
10. After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3 minutes)
open the catch and remove the foods with the help of a at wooden
or plastic spatula. Never use sharp or metal object (e. g. knives, metal
spatulas, etc.) as this will damage the Teon coating.
11. If you wish to grill move food, close the appliance again and wait
until the toasting surfaces have reheated sufciently.
12. When the control light illuminates again you can repeat the
toasting process as described above.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
13. After completion of the grilling process disconnect the mains plug
immediately. With the appliance open allow it to cool down.
Caution:
14. The grilling surfaces as well as the sides and top of the appliance
get very hot. Avoid any contact. Danger of burning! Only hold by the
handle.
15. The appliance must always be positioned horizontally during use.
16. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order
to avoid a hazard.
17. Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid.
18. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.
WARNING: Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used
with this appliance.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Firstly, disconnect the mains plug!
2. Only clean when the appliance has completely cooled down.
3. Clean the housing surface and the toasting surfaces of the sandwich
toaster with a soft, damp cloth.
4. It is easiest to remove toast or food crumbs with a very soft brush.
5. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e. g.
scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
6. Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
There is danger to life due to electric shock.
7.This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shop,ofces and other working
environments
- farm houses
- by clients in hotels,motels and other residential type
environments
- bed and breakfast type environments.
NOTE: Do not put the appliance into the dishwasher.

DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of the device in normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the device over a registered waste disposal rm or through
your communal waste disposal facility.
Observe the currently valid regulations. In case of doubt, consult your
waste disposal facility.

1. Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voordat u de tosti-
ijzer in gebruik neemt en bewaar deze op een veilige plaats.
2. Als u dit apparaat doorgeeft aan derden, moeten deze
bedieningsinstructies ook worden overhandigd.
3. Onjuiste bediening en hantering kunnen leiden tot storingen van het
apparaat en letsel bij de gebruiker.
4. Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
5. Controleer voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt, of de
stroom en voeding voldoen aan de specicaties op het typeplaatje.
6. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in gebruik is
en voordat u het schoonmaakt.
7. Delen van het apparaat worden heet tijdens gebruik. Daarom mag
het apparaat alleen aan de handgreep worden vastgehouden.
8. Dompel het apparaat of de stekker niet onder in water of andere
vloeistoffen. Er bestaat levensgevaar door elektrische schokken!
9. Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (inclusief
kinderen) met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of mentale
vermogens, of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze supervisie of
instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het apparaat door een
persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.

10. Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan om ervoor te zorgen dat ze
niet met het apparaat spelen.
11. Apparaten zijn niet bedoeld om te worden bediend door middel
van een externe timer of een afzonderlijk afstandsbedieningssysteem.
12. Gebruik het apparaat niet als het netsnoer of de stekker tekenen
van schade vertoont, als het apparaat op de vloer is gevallen of
anderszins is beschadigd. Breng het apparaat in dergelijke gevallen
naar een specialist voor controle en reparatie indien nodig.
13. Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet over scherpe randen hangt en
houd het uit de buurt van hete voorwerpen en open vuur.
14. Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond en stel het
niet bloot aan hete voorwerpen of open vuur (bijv. Kookplaten).
15. Laat het apparaat tijdens gebruik nooit onbeheerd achter.
16. De temperatuur van toegankelijke oppervlakken kan hoog zijn
wanneer het apparaat in werking is.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
- Verwijder alle verpakkingen.
- Reinig de roosteroppervlakken met een zachte, vochtige doek en droog ze
vervolgens af.
- Wikkel het netsnoer volledig af.
Let op: Het product kan bij de eerste keer verwarmen een lichte rook of
geur afgeven, wat normaal is voor verwarmingsapparaten en geen invloed
heeft op de veiligheid ervan.
HANDLEIDING
1. Sluit het apparaat aan op een geschikt stopcontact.
2. De controlelampjes lichten op en de roosterende oppervlakken
worden warm.
3. Het apparaat moet vóór het grillen worden opgewarmd. Bereid
ondertussen je eten voor.
4. Als het tosti-apparaat na een paar minuten klaar is, gaat het
gebruiksklare lampje branden.
5. U kunt nu beginnen met grillen.
6. Open het apparaat bij de pal.
7. Sluit het apparaat en zorg ervoor dat de vergrendeling vastzit.
8. Let op: Als het voedsel teveel vult, is het niet mogelijk om het
apparaat te sluiten. Haal wat van de vulling. Gebruik nooit geweld om
het apparaat te sluiten.
9. Tijdens het roosteren schakelt de temperatuurregelthermostaat uit en
weer in. Het controlelampje gaat ook uit en weer aan.
10. Na voltooiing van het grillproces (ca. 2-3 minuten) open de pal
en verwijder het voedsel met behulp van een platte houten of plastic
spatel. Gebruik nooit een scherp of metalen voorwerp (bijv. Messen,
metalen spatels, enz.) Omdat hierdoor de teon-coating wordt
beschadigd.
11. Als u voedsel wilt grillen, sluit u het apparaat opnieuw en wacht u
totdat de roosterende oppervlakken voldoende zijn opgewarmd.
12. Wanneer het controlelampje weer gaat branden, kunt u het
roosterproces herhalen zoals hierboven beschreven.
